Yea, he was taught by the author of the book and another BJJ guy who gave him his bjj black belt. Funny how shyt works.

I was under the impression they both learned under Joe Moreira (sp?) but i havent looked much into Tim's BJJ stuff. Some guys are like that though, they seek out and manage to get the best instruction they can in anything they can. That's something you can only get by dedicating your life to the game pretty much.

Is wonderful. It's a collection of interviews of various masters in these three disciplines. It discusses their views on various aspects of the martial arts; training, the spirit, philosophy, self defense, sparring, conditioning. Fascinating book. Some different viewpoints, and some that are unexpectedly similar. Highly recommended. And its cheap.

Correction: There are also guys in there who are practitioners of lesser known stuff like Liu He Ba Fa, Yi Quan, I Liq Chuan, Bajiquan.
