I actually loved this version of Macho Man lol. He was cutting some fire promos and basically just a pissed off old dude that dressed flashy. I made a thread about a random match he had with Evan Karagias where he demolished him completely hit him with three flying elbows, and I think beat up Mona and a ref as well

It only lasted like 2 months before wcw realized how stupid they were. Kind of like Austin's heel run they did all they could to generate heel heat, but unlike their competitors they sucked at that too.



Side note - before this, his dumb ass was so high on his own hype he tried breaking the windows of a limousine with his bare hands. That knuckle head not only fukked himself but the company as well, by getting benched for 5 months when they really needed him on TV.

Tank Abbott may have been a goofy motherfukker but for doing the bare minimum he cashed a fat ass check and was probably laughing his ass off at the bank for being paid that ludicrous amount of money. Probably one of the most disastrous investments they made that played a big part in them going belly up, him along with all the other celebrities and pro athletes.

Let me also bring up Master P in wcw, not only did bischoff and them drop the ball on this but they allowed themselves to get finessed out of millions of dollars by master p who only made 2 appearances. I dont know wtf they were thinking putting the no limit soldiers in front of mainly all white southern crowds that didnt even like rap and somehow managed to make a heel faction comprised of ignorant rednecks turn out to be the "good guys" . It's as bad as eric bischoff throwing an insane amount of money at kizz to perform one time on nitro and nobody gave a shyt.
