Can’t find the clip, but Sting came out in a monster truck like 2 weeks in a row. One time he came out in the truck to save Buff Bagwell from the Steiners.
This was so dumb and out of place. Nothing about Sting’s character has ever said monster truck. The color scheme of the truck didn’t even make sense. It was multi-colored and Sting wore black and white.
edit: Sid came out for a main event world title match against Nash with Michael Buffer announcing and his music didn’t come on.
There was this awkward silence where they were waiting for his music, then he just came out with Savage and no music.
Someone clearly had a deal with a monster truck team or dealer or something because they kept popping up through the summer of 2000
