This is the easiest way to explain this 'birthing people' shyt. Absolutely no one has ever made a good faith argument that 'birthing people' should universally replace 'women.' That wouldn't even make any sense because it would exclude women who can't have kids, women who don't want kids, post-menopausal women, and trans people (both trans men and trans women).

This is what people have been trying to explain to Cenk and Ana for weeks, but they decided to attack everyone and double down on this right-wing strawman. What makes it worse is they have spent years warning that these exact type of arguments are distractions from the real issues.

If I believe there are physical differences between trans women and biological women and therefore trans women should not be able to participate in women’s sports, does that make me a right winger too?

I see our entire argument went over you head as well. Ana being an all around great person, and someone who's content I typically enjoy and appreciate doesn't absolve her of criticism and as I said earlier in this thread

Folks how are we any different from the republicans if we attack them for things, but are unwilling to attack our ideological peers when they do the same damn thing? It's hypocritical to get on Ben Shapiro for doing that shyt but not Ana. Inconsistency in application of criticism would be the true tell if someone believes in what they say they believe in or not IMO.

I’d imagine this is a personal soft spot for her as she is not a birthing person.
