Yo is Avater really that good? People keep recommending it to me but I'm always so about it and kinda put it off.

Yes it's really that good. Though I'll give you a warning that nobody gave me initially. The series starts off slow and somewhat formulaic, but it rewards you as it goes on.

I'd even say the first few couple episodes are a chore to get though, but it definitely picks up as it goes on.

Yeah I concur. There's a few boring eps here and there but the pay off is great in each season. Season 3 in it's entirety was just

The show didn't really grab my interest until episode 5 IMO. After that episode is goes up and down in quality till episode 12. By the time the season finale rolls around you'll be hooked and will probably burn through the second season in a day.

There were non benders who were holding their own or outright sonning Aang, Katara, and Toph. Dudes just trying to hate on Korra cause she isn't Aang.

Most benders aren't trained in hand to hand and close combat. As we've seen it takes speed to son most of them.

Just ran through the entire season to date and..

I'm sorry brehs, but I sympathize w/ the Equalists a little. I think all nonbenders should be able to get their Ty Lee on. I don't know about taking away people's bending powers tho.

That's a good point. I don't think any benders know hand-to-hand combat, so all the non-bender was to do is close the gap.

Sokka could handle a few benders towards the end of the series as well.
