Nobody likes to talk about this, but if the roles were reversed:

Cavs up 3-1 when both teams at basically full-strength
Cavs player suspended in G5
In this scenario we would be talking about who, Love?:ld:

Cavs player injured in G5 and out for the rest of the series
In this scenario we would be talking about who, Shump?:mjlol:

Cavs player injured in G6 and becoming a non-factor

Wouldn't be a game 6 Cavs win in 5:ehh:

Warriors win G7

it would be the main talking point for the rest of the offseason - about how "rigged" it was in their favor and how "lucky" they were because of said circumstances. I could just see all these dudes saying 'but the Cavs proved to be the better team when they were at full-strength - it was only because of that suspension and those injuries why the Warriors came back and won.'.
If roles were reversed nobody would call the 73-9 cavs an atg team. We would be flooded with fatherless 2-5 threads:lolbron:

Watch it white man.

Warriors are an all time great team on the merit of winning 73 games alone, whether ya'll like it or not
They lost as many games in the playoffs as they did during the season though. That's not all time great anything. The pleas being copped for the Warriors in here are beyond laughable.

You probably undervalue the importance of Andrew Bogut and how him being out leads to Varejao and Ezeli playing more minutes than they deserve in a tightly contested game 7. I do agree that the Warriors still had ample opportunities to win the series but it got a lot harder after those events took place.

Personally, after news broke of Green being suspended I immediately bet the ML on Cleveland taking the series because anyone who understand's Dray's importance and how LBJ usually responds in elimination games knows the Cavs were a virtual lock to win game 5, then going back home with the momentum where they previously blew the Warriors out, and anything can happen in a game 7 especially against one of the top 5 players to ever do it and a iso god in Kyre Irving. I do think the way they lost the series hurts them severely in comparison to the Bulls, but they are still an all time great team.
Bros you can go in the game thread itself and find Warriors fans saying Bogut presence or lack thereof didn't mean shyt and how last year he was a liability and they still won come.on brehski:russ:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
This was one of the strangest Finals I've ever seen. The Warriors were five points away from a repeat and their two best players never really played well. One great game each and the rest were meh. I can't recall another series like that. In a roundabout way, it shows how good Golden State was. :ld:

It wasn't that weird for those of us that thought the Cavs had the right pieces to beat the Warriors :sas2:

They said the Cavs were done because this just meant more of that death lineup and more 3s being chucked up that were definitely all gonna keep going in until it was over. :mjlol:

Switched up quick once they lost

2 seasons.
All those wins.
1 title.

Nothing else matters.

How can you be an all-time great team if you didn't win the chip?

1998 Minnesota Vikings, 15-1, set the scoring record at the time. No chip.
2007 New England Patriots, 16-0, set the scoring record at the time. No chip.
2001 Seattle Mariners, 116-46, set the wins record. No chip.
1996 Detroit Red Wings, 62 wins, set the season points record with 131. No chip.

Nobody talks about a collective set of years and tries to point to 1 of them and argue that it makes them the best.
When people talk about the Bulls, it's the 96 Bulls. It's not the 96 to 98 Bulls.
When people talk about the Bears, it's the 85 Bears. It's not the 84 to 88 Bears.
When people talk about the Yankees, it's the 27 Yankees. It's not the 27 to 32 Yankees.

Stop :cape:

Your heroes lost.
Deal with it.

If dem nikkas had lost, da servers would still be down.
I don't see how that's relevant to my post. The Cavs won under those circumstances and this board crowned them. If the Warriors won under those circumstances this board would say how the league is rigged and how they were lucky because of the Cavs' injuries.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Even without caring, they would have been in the 60s.

The way the Cavs handle the East in the playoffs should tell people just how good/dominant they are, but these dumb fukks use that as a means of putting the East down.

That's the thing tho I see nikkas in this thread trying to discredit what the Cavs just did like it was a fluke...like its something that's been done before.
