Warriors aren't and I wouldn't say Cavs are either(no offense brehs). If Lebron was in his actual prime then I'd say yes(this isn't insulting him at all as a player, but he's not in his prime anymore), but he's not so I wouldn't put them up there. Kyrie also isn't in his prime.

And they have yet to beat a healthy Cavs team. If Kyrie doesn't miss 27 games. Cavs would have won 65 games easily as well.
Do NOT go down this path. If we were to keep it a buck, when both teams were at full-strength (main rotational players) the Warriors are 3-0 (3-1 if we're taking into account G3 when Cavs were without Love) in the Finals.

What the fukk is this a few possession away from a chip. :pachaha:
nikkas seriously in here giving them credit for almost winning a chip :dead:

That's like sayin Bron was a few possession away from being up 3-0 on the warriors last years, or 2 injuries away from winning back to back, you don't get brownie point from almost winning or showing up ask Bron himself :pachaha:

It highlights how narrow the margin is between victory and defeat.

That does not take away from the Cavs accomplishment, but this was a series of blowouts until that game 7 and there's obvious circumstances that precipitated that happening.

& LeBron got a lot of brownie points for leading the Cavs to 6 games last year. Pretty much the entire offseason talk was about his efforts.

the way I see it is this. Serena Williams is the greatest female tennis player ever, whenever she loses I never look at the opponent and say they must be an all time great too. Even someone brought up the Patriots going 18-1, still nobody considers the Giants an all time great team for beating them :yeshrug:

End of the day there's championship teams and teams that have won championships, you got to go back to back to distinguish yourself and neither has done it yet. Still GS is an all time great team.

Breh the warriors suffered blowout losses the series before the finals, that shyt wasn't new to them nikkas :skip:
All they had to do was win 1 game breh 1 game, no one wants to hear that brehski, I even kept saying no way the Cavs come back that's impossible the warriors are the better team:pachaha:

There is no ATG team that has its foot on the neck of a team losing like they did not one :pachaha:

This is exactly how I feel. This years warriors are eliminated cause they came up short. If they won then yes. Cavs won but there are better chip winning teams. But a chip is still a chip:ahh:

They did split, but the Warriors have been by far the better team for the totality of both seasons. They were not playing at an all time level last season in contrast to this postseason where everything really began to click while the Warriors have been on this level for two years. Consistency means a lot

So lets see what the Cavs do next year, and for that matter lets see how Golden State bounces back as well.
Everyone knows Bron goes in chill mode in the regular season these days:mjlol: He's been consistent about saying playoff seeding doesn't matter:manny: Its all about what you do in the playoffs. They both got a ring after playing each other two years in a row. Maybe if one of these teams win next year then they enter the conversation.

And they won each of those series.

I'm not taking any credit away from the Cavs ring. They earned it, they're the champions while Golden State is second place. But it's fine to look at the margin of victory and take not of how close they were to a repeat.

The Warriors were not up 3-1 under normal circumstances. Green was suspended for the very next game at home, Bogut tore up his knee in said game and Iggy tweaks his back the next. Did something similar happen in last years finals? Yeah. Getting breaks are a part of winning a title and the Cavs got a few this year just like the next champ will next season.
