Heh.

Damn Slam, you big league mad!!!
:what:
Ole “I want my video games to have straight, white male characters only!” ass

and since when are lesbians referred to as fags???
You say this like its only lesbians

Don’t get these developers twisted, liberal fakkits hate us. I don’t give a fukk if it’s a while male character, if they fakkit tho :francis:

Not for me, I don’t want to be looking at fakkitry in my down time. If that’s what you are in to aye be yourself.

:ufdup:Might have to show you Naughty Dogs side when it comes to black folk.

If you'da made this game EXACTLY the same and made Ellie
I dont understand how you couldn't comprehend thart they die in abundance and rather quickly. Tess, Henry and Sam died in the OG. thats not a lot. In this game Joel, Jesse and a shyt ton of abby's friends died in a forced way. TLOU2 shouldve went a kill bill route where ellie chases them 1 by 1 and has a boss fight for all of them....missed opportunit. We all know this isn't new. you're annoying me with this obvious ass post.

That takes away from the fact that the point is vengeance and violence for selfish reasons gets even the people around you killed. Most people die with no fanfare and unceremoniously. Especially in battle. More people die like Jessie than Joel.

Not to mention not all of Abby's crew were hardened soldiers. Hell, Nora and Mel were medics. In what world, realistically, would someone like Mel stand a chance against someone like Ellie who's been killing since 14?

we understand that, everyone sees this game is trying too hard while biting other games in the process. If there is a third game it better be a completely new cast because this ending was forcedly trying to be deep.

What games did it bite? I'm curious to hear this perspective.

nikkas don’t even know why they dislike the game and just posting babble :mjlol:

Its what it comes off like. I'm not saying its the best game ever made, but people fooling if this isn't a top 5 of the gen, experience. Its like people need everything to be Avengers level shyt and fail to see value in a more nuanced story.

Also I should say that for more than 50 percent of the production, Ellie used to kill Abby at the end. Which gave a whole different kind of feel to the ending, and then another character would have to stop the cycle of violence. But at some point, through our conversations about Yara and Lev, we came to the realization that it wasn’t as honest to Ellie’s character that way. Deep down inside there’s goodness there. Hopefully she can go forward and build her life.

Interesting that the ending was changed halfway through. Means they weren't entirely on board with how it should've concluded. Personally don't agree that it isn't honest to Ellie's character to kill Abby when you've been killing people in brutal fashion the whole game.

I support the idea of TLOU2 giving the player agency in the ending. Allowing them to choose if Abby lives or not, rather than having to play the game based on the single interpretation of the director, who admits that not everyone views the story the same/his opinion isn't greater than others -

Whatever we say here ultimately doesn’t matter. Everything you need to understand the story is in the game, and whatever players take from it… their interpretation is right.

The 1st was a top five gen experience. This was all over the place.

That guy dikk riding shamelessly. Top 5 games this gen is GoW, HZD, Spiderman- RDR2 and anything that isnt TLOU2
I think it’s fanboyism - since people on both sides aren’t budging about their opinion on the game. Some people think it’s perfect 10/10 (which is bs) others think it’s garbage (it isn’t, but it’s a Major step down from 1). Naughty Dog knew this would happen. But it makes me wonder how do you make a game with universal acclaim (1) than fumble with the story so bad with the sequel?
