important characters died in the first one...

important characters dying isn't something that just started in fiction. Stephen Kind has been doing it for decades, as well as george rr martin.

shyt even in Chinua Achebe's books these things happen. it's not a new phenomenon at all.
I dont understand how you couldn't comprehend thart they die in abundance and rather quickly. Tess, Henry and Sam died in the OG. thats not a lot. In this game Joel, Jesse and a shyt ton of abby's friends died in a forced way. TLOU2 shouldve went a kill bill route where ellie chases them 1 by 1 and has a boss fight for all of them....missed opportunit. We all know this isn't new. you're annoying me with this obvious ass post.

the point of the game is realism.

Video games are more fun at my age in my opinion. I actually have shyt to do so 1 game will last me at least 1 year until I beat it if I'm playing it faithfully. :mjlol:

TLOU is a keeper hands down so that's all I'll need besides madden and COD.:russ:

lol......RDR2 is realism.....this? not at all.
as realistic as a game can be, without being a complete simulator. it still has to appeal to people.

my point being, if you get stabbed in the throat with a knife, you're gonna die. there is no health regen.

either way your opinion is totally subjective.

plus rdr2 and this are two completely different games, so i'm not sure why the comparison is being made outside of smoking people and riding horses. you like rdr2 better, i get it. i may agree once i beat tlou2.

LWO
Instant Top 5 Game of All Time.

What difficulty y’all Locker Room brehs playing on???
:lupe:

I've tweaked each individual setting, but as a whole, I'm on Survivor (I'll play Grounded difficulty if it's added, which I believe it's rumored to be in a future update.) I don't use listen mode and I removed the HUD completely. Scarce rescorces and you being incredibly squishy makes encounters extremely tense. I've still yet to bust a single shot since leaving Jackson. Stealth, bottle/bricks stuns, & melee. For me, the more dangerous the enemies and the more scarce the resources, the more intense and enjoyable this series is. I could only play TLOU on Grounded. That'll probably be the case with this one, too.

I love RDR2 because it isnt a linear experience. those games have little replay value if their name isnt Resident Evil. I compare TLOU to RDR alot because its obvious what tone they're going for

You wanted a cliche, safe, run of the mill revenge tale.

Naughty Dog didn't.
They didn't go the cliche route and still failed lol. I expected it to be a kill bill tale when they offed Joel and thought she was going to remember their faces:yeshrug: it would've been more impactful, surprised shyt writer Neil Druckmann didn't copy kill bill:mjlol:
