So this is your argument for today? Ignoring the potential importance of why they were operating on her? And the world they live in? where there are no rules, government ect.

the other day it was the idea that Ellie was killing all of these people by herself was bothering you, honest question breh....why are you here? now as far as last week with me speaking on the violence of this game with an all female characters... all I did was post a couple of females who had issues with this

Also not sure how you can argue killing Joel wasn’t revenge. You play flashbacks of her walking in on her dead dad through out the game. She spends ten years looking for leads on his killers and soon as she finds them plans an expedition to go savagely murder him. It was pretty clearly planned revenge and would have me question if you beat the game or watched some shyt on YouTube tbh.

You don't have to feel anything for her to understand her motivations. I didn't like Abby as a person but I got why she did what she did. Honestly, how good the Fireflies are and whether them cutting Ellie open is right or wrong is all inconsequential. At the end of the day she found her dad dead who she loved and wanted to resolve that anger. No one is asking anyone to feel bad for anything. Hence distinguishing empathy and sympathy. I don't think the goal was to make you feel for Abby and her dad in the way you do for Joel and Ellie. It was just to flip perspective and toss the world on it's head. If the goal was to make me like Abby or feel bad for her they failed.

To me that didn't seem like the objective though. I looked at it as more a window into the other side only to find out they are just surviving and operating off emotions just like you.

Even if her dad was a known piece of shyt it would be normal for her to want revenge over him being killed. It's human nature, her dad is dead.

I will give you the parallels are on the nose and a little ham-fisted between Ellie and Abby, I can agree with that. They were not being subtle and pretty clearly wanted people to see it's about perspective.'who's really the bad guy' stuff. I enjoy stuff like that though because it's a study on human nature and how we lie to ourselves based on our point of view when the truth is different once you see the opposing point of views.

We're really mad they didn't have the sequel planned out far enough ahead to flesh this story out in the first game?

The whole story is trash because the doctors character model is different in the first game and he's unnamed? Obviously at that time they didn't know this is the route the story would go. Is that really a big deal?

My behavior is far from irrational the problem is is that you had a bunch of fanboys all in their feelings because I particularly posted things that they could not handle so they did the typical bytch shyt and snitch/reported me which I got banned instead of trying to have a civil constructive debate

that’s fair on your part but it’s still illogical to think everyone would react that way just bcuz you would...and I find it unbelievable that you can’t fathom that someone could be distraught for years over witnessing the death/murder of a loved one to the point of thinking/behaving irrationally in response to that...regardless of “right” or “wrong”...it happens in real life...often

also “bloodlust” joel was able to cleanly take the scalpel out the surgeon’s hand...it was unnecessary to stab him after that

Am I alone in feeling like the pacing too slow at times? I'm at the point of playing Abby in the aquarium, about 17 hours in and it feels like I've been playing double that.

It def drags in places and feels like it coulda been compressed more.

There were times where it felt like an apex was coming only for them to say, see that building another 10 miles away, we have to go there. Then there's 5 more 'areas' of humans or infected to clear to get there lol.
