What true Lakers need to hope for is that AD can stay consistent, cause Denver’s big names will most likely keep about the same energy

Two things ive noticed most of the people propping up jokic are white and there is a clear racial agenda they want to say this fat serbian whiteboy is the best among nba filled with black players which is nonsense

Second most lebron haters on twitter i always look at their likes it either they like desantis , trump libs of tiktok or one degenerate conservative or the other, there is a strong correlation with anti lebron hate even on espn and sports pages on twitter and being a racist conservative atleast by their likes,
This shyt is fully political
Go on 4 klan right now you can bet your top dollar which team all the racists want to win it,so they can say the dominated a whole league o blacks

Just some observations ive seen

This just isn't true.

Jokic is amongst the best NBA players because HE IS ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE NBA!

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
This was the game the Lakers needed to steal and in game 2 they could've explored more line up strategies comfortable with the split going back home. For game 2 they need to shoot well from 3, have a clear plan with ADs role on defense and potentially put Vanderbilt in the lineup.

AD giving you 40, contributions from Reeves and Rui with also good shooting from 3 and you still lose the game.

I said this pre-series this is the series where a back up big man off the bench is needed Howard did that in the 2020 bubble.

Jamal Murray is food in any situation where he has to play defense. If Mike Malone has no adjustment for this we will see either AG or Jokic in foul trouble next game. AG had a bad game he is the X-Factor for Nuggets if they want a shot at winning game 2.

Will Tony Brothers get the call for game 2 and the Lakers get 35+ FT attemps...guess we shall see.
Murray is ok on D as long as he’s not one on one against Bron. Absolutely food in that matchup but that’s not surprising. Needs to make sure he’s moving his feet but he has ok hands. Big strip at the end.

Your comments about foul trouble is what I wanted to respond to. It was showing to be a big problem in the second half. Defending without fouling especially when you have a Lakers teams attacking the rim and trying to exploit mismatches requires extreme discipline. It also means making smart adjustments so that you’re not putting your guys in situations where they have a clear disadvantage. The Lakers benefitted from the whistle in the 2nd half big time hit it was because they were being aggressive. Murray and KCP both ended up with 5 fouls and Jokic had 4. Need all these guys to stay on the floor. One positive is that Gordon was not in foul trouble. He only had 1 foul. He can help Murray stay out of trouble by fighting to stay on Bron. Might mean he picks up a few more fouls over the life of a game but that’s ok.

They didnt even mention jokic started to post Rui and they had no real answer. He got an open KCP three and then got free throws at the end.
Exactly and it would have been worse if Aaron Gordon goes out and be a 3 point threat because he takes AD away from the basket.

Bad

It was just that everyone else on the Suns couldn't hit anything. Booker got whatever he wanted, just like Bron might be able to with switches

The nuggets defense wasn’t that bad during the suns series. Booker went insane in games 3 and 4 and they barely won those and he made a lot of contested low percentage shots. KD struggled with AG’s defense and bookers offensive percentage dipped when guarded by AG also

good to see the “denver fans” finally putting actual expectations on their team to win now that we’re in the WCF after dodging putting those expectations on them all year and claiming that Jokic was surrounded by lottery level talent :mjlol: nasty nikkas

What are you talking about Denver fans have been saying finals appearance bare minimum since December

I'm more curious how Nuggets gonna adjust on the defensive end and how they will pick apart Lakers defense showcased in 2nd half.

How was Nuggets defense during the Suns series?
Bad

For the most part their defense was exceptional in that series.

And Booker's performance wasn't about him "getting whatever he wanted". He went into a zone in the 1st round against the Clippers and couldn't be stopped, no matter who was on him and no matter what they did, schematically. He carried that form into the 2nd round against Denver, where he was hitting everything and anything. The degree of difficulty and the volume of shots meant he was bound to come crashing back down to Earth at some point, which he did in the final two games, and Denver's defense successfully shut them out.

Phoenix had no counter once Booker cooled off because they had already cut KD's water off and he rarely got into a rhythm.

Apart from some lulls throughout Games 3 and 4 (which were on both ends), they played as well on defense as they had all season.

Go back and watch that Suns/TWolves series Murray is complete trash on defense he gets away with it because KCP and Brown do all the dirty work they hide all his defencies well.

Lakers will feast at the FT line like they did game 2 Warriors series and I expect Jokic to get into foul trouble next game.

Embiid defensively was exploited a bit these playoffs, and Jokic has been solid. Embiid's footwork and lateral movement is so plodding that he was playing an extreme drop and didn't really contest any shots outside 5 feet of the rim and gave the Celtics a big cushion.
