Ime needs to give JB and Tatum some rest
Running them 40+ minutes every game is not going to get you a win
This 8 man rotation is showing its weakness in the 4th and the Warriors see it now
This is a consistent pattern every game where they have weak 3rd or 4th quarters

Same way Kerr is saying Kuminga and Moody are not getting minutes because they look lost on defense you have to sacrifice your offense to give them rest for the 2nd half

Warriors know the Celtics have nobody who can calm things down on the court.

Smart was disgusting in the 4th. Celtics need to hope that White has a good game 6

This was the first game that Boston looked worn down and defeated in the 4th.

The Warriors seemed to have figured out their offense (or lack thereof) and are forcing them to be hesitant and confused. The turnovers are a result of their constant uncertainty and being rushed. After Game 1, the Warriors were like aight, we're not going to give all these role players uncontested 3s and just tightened up on them some.

Wiggins has been excellent on Tatum. He's getting no separation. Not gonna lie, Boston's offense in Game's 4 and 5 have looked like pick-up games. Just isolation, high PnR etc. It's ugly

Looking on paper this series shouldn't have been particularly close, vegas had warriors favoured and alot of people were predicting sweep or warriors in five games. They had the veterans, the more experience, the more all star selections, the MVP curry and some people claim top 10 which i strongly dispute, so this isnt a surprise at all and Golden state winning isn't for sure. Kudos to coach udoka and the boys.

This was basically the Warriors' anomaly game, similar to what the Celtics had in Game 1. A bit more devastating given that they have no room for error anymore.

Maybe there's one more twist in the story of this series where we get one more.

I think I might've outlined this to you during the season:

This is where Kerr deserves his props, because he made sure not to aimlessly play a 34-year-old Steph more minutes during meaningless regular season games (when folks were demanding he should be put back in the game, over and over), and where he monitored all their minutes over the course of the 82-game season (Klay getting extra rest games; Otto getting rest games; GP2 getting rest games), and played guys at the end of the bench more minutes than they would typically get. It's why he's been stringent on not maxing out Steph during games and making sure he gets adequate rest all throughout the playoffs, even if it means riding less-than-ideal lineups for a 1-2 minutes more.

All of that has been in preparation for what's been happening in this series, and look how it's benefited the team. As opposed to the Celtics (who really of not fault of Udoka) haven't been able to do that the same, and it's showing.
Depth matters. Sometimes those regular season metrics don't matter in today's NBA with those vet squads.

GPII quietly making a huge difference in this series. Competes on every possession, forces turnovers and gets those "hustle buckets" right when you need them. GS defense been so much better with him back on the floor

you could also tell him being announced as being back for the Finals made the rest of the team a lot happier

they all fukk wit GP2

the fact it is even a consideration for another player to win the FMVP when Steph is averaging 30-5-5-2...is proof of far people will go to discredit Steph

same thing they were doing last year wit Giannis acting like Khris was Batman

im not here to debate about the term "superstar" but what are Tatum and Brown then? They've been to 3-4 Eastern Conference Finals and now a Finals appearance..

How many duos across the league have had that type of success? You can say they aren't "superstars" sure but then what are they?? :jbhmm:

Tatum is without a doubt a superstar. 1 bad series doesnt change that fact

Which current duos are more accomplished together than them? Steph/Klay for sure. Giannis/Middleton probably. But who else?

A lot of people on this site let all logic leave the arena when it’s time to discuss anything Celtic related though

Welp.. just saying.. he's 24-years old now. Maybe he doesn't get better but he's already got the Celts further than any James Harden team or any Russ team..

The 2012 Thunder were not either of they teams. So we're discussing former league MVPs Harden and Russ who never did half as much as Tatum whose 24-years old..

if Tatum not a superstar then how could they be?
