why don't you ever get more explicit in detailing what this future might look like?
because much of the information is readily available to anyone who chooses to perform a google search on project 2025.

i shouldn’t have to lead you by the hand to learn what will happen if trump wins.

it should be of such concern that you will take it upon your own volition to seek that information out.

but, project 2025 aside, trump’s own words are instructive in the insight they offer:

- the military will be dispatched into “high crime” areas (read: black neighborhoods).

- legal immigrants will be deported (read: black and brown immigrants).

- a more pronounced qualified immunity will be granted to police, who will be deputized under a federal agency that absolves them of any accountability (read: no oversight over indiscriminate slaughter of black people by law enforcement).

these are just three measures he has articulated in recent speeches on the campaign trail.

He's likely talking towards the undecided and unregistered voters. Yes, we all know Black men and women who are registered will vote over 85-90% respectfully for the Dems, but since 2016, elections have been a bit unusually close, which means that the more newly registered or participating Black voters actively involved, the better chances of winning.

People complain about the last election in 2020 and this one potentially being too close but fail to understand that it's only close because there are not enough active voters to skew the balance ⚖️ in favor of one side.

That 85-90% of Black (men and women) voters voting Dem does not represent the entire Black population of potentially eligible voters. Obama is trying to encourage more Black people, men in particular who might not be active or undecided to support Kamala in November.

This isn't about the ones who are already surefire to vote come November; this is about the undecided, unregistered, and dormant (registered but inactive for whatever reason) voters to come out on November 5th.

it's like it's completely over heads that elections are close. how many damn weeks long recounts and lawsuits were there the last time. we don't need 85%, we need errbody.
this is elections 101.

So take that errbody energy out to Hispanics, Asians, White Liberals. Enough with trying to squeeze more out of Black men, when there are whole groups of ethnicities not participating.

In my country people get triggered into voting for members of their tribe and staying on code and it ends up being tribal clashes and biases.

This is no different psychologically trying to guilt black folk into voting for Kamala who will play up her blackness just to get people to stay on code.

ya'll losers took zero time.

what even are talk talking about in this post? that's a wild ass comparison and your inability to see the difference speaks volumes

My question is who is he talking to?

He's proselytizing to a room full of people who already support her and the democratic party.

This.

Congratulate the brothas there on their support and encourage them to get everyone they know to vote for Kamala.

The end.

If there are undecided voters, he’s supposed to give them a reason to vote. But since he’s referring to black men and benign neglect is still in place, he just demands we vote democrat for nothing in return. He does this every election cycle. Then he goes back to his yacht parties with white people.

This also speaks to a bigger problem.

Men and women like Obama, and the brood he hangs with, have issues addressing serious, adult, black Americans, especially men.

It's either this dressing down half-baked paternalism, victim narratives, or celebrity emulation.

They are incapable of sitting down with serious adults and have conversations about creating/supporting strong nuclear families, education policy, land/property ownership, and so on.

The reason: they are bereft and it would expose the grift.

It's a joke.
