My question is who is talking to?

He's proselytizing to a room full of people who already support her and the democratic party.

He did this same shyt during his presidency. Whenever he speaks to black people, black men especially, he talks down to them.

Remember when he went to a Morehouse graduation and started telling dudes to take care of their kids?

What a fukking dolt.

So you think he was completely unaware that cameras and reporters are in the building and this would reach folks like you? :mjlol: 800000 views on a few hours. think deeper!

In my country people get triggered into voting for members of their tribe and staying on code and it ends up being tribal clashes and biases.

This is no different psychologically trying to guilt black folk into voting for Kamala who will play up her blackness just to get people to stay on code.

Unnecessary speech. Black Men will probably vote Kamala in droves. For the few low information black MAGA voters/bothsiders, black women will most likely have a huge turnout that will make up for those few lost votes

You don't garner support by insulting the very people you need to support you.

We vote Democratic higher than any other demographic than Black women. Yet, every 4 years we are admonished for not voting Democratic enough. Then you have some fools who are perfectly fine with the insults, and choose to remain willfully ignorant about the fact that we already support the Democratic party higher than every other group that is not Black. Ready to accept any sort of slander of Black men in the name of Liberal solidarity. Picking sides, but seem to rarely pick the side of their own people.

He's likely talking towards the undecided and unregistered voters. Yes, we all know Black men and women who are registered will vote over 85-90% respectfully for the Dems, but since 2016, elections have been a bit unusually close, which means that the more newly registered or participating Black voters actively involved, the better chances of winning.

People complain about the last election in 2020 and this one potentially being too close but fail to understand that it's only close because there are not enough active voters to skew the balance ⚖️ in favor of one side.

That 85-90% of Black (men and women) voters voting Dem does not represent the entire Black population of potentially eligible voters. Obama is trying to encourage more Black people, men in particular who might not be active or undecided to support Kamala in November.

This isn't about the ones who are already surefire to vote come November; this is about the undecided, unregistered, and dormant (registered but inactive for whatever reason) voters to come out on November 5th.

No population votes higher in elections per capita than Black people here in the US. So enough with this idea that we deserve to be admonished for not participating enough, when we participate in the election system higher than any other ethnicity.

What is really amazing is that even with our higher participation rates and our highest support for the Democratic party, our issues receive less consideration than migrants and LGBTQ+. We are quite frankly the mules for everyone else, our votes empowering their fights while ours languish and and we Black men are admonished for not doing enough.

Edit: Higher than any other Non-White ethnicity. My mistake, the stats show Whites participate a bit higher than us, but the rest are all far below us.
