It's giving me 2014 vibes when the Atlanta Hawks had the best record in the East. Had 4 players become All Stars and then proceeded to get swept by the Cavs :mjlol:
The Hawks weren't even story of the league that year, which was the Warriors, who finished 7 games ahead of the Hawks and won the title.

Wonder why you didn't say Cava remind you of them??

Oh that's right, because you're a fukkin casual :childplease:

They remind me of the 60 wins Atlanta Hawks team of 2014/15 season that predictably crumbled in the playoffs

Believe in momentum riding regular season frauds at your own peril
Nothing like that Hawks team

Again, the Cavs average margin of victory is +11.7. If they keep this up, it’s the second highest since they been tracking this. Only the 16-17 Warriors were higher at +12.1.

That Hawks team was at +4.5.

Their offensive rating is 122 which tops the league while defensive rating is like 7th.

The other major difference is talent levels. Maybe Hortford over Allen, but the Cavs are better every where else and Mitchell is an elite bucket.

That’s clearly not a 70 win roster. So to an extent yeah, that record is fraudulent.

They’re not better than Boston. My Knicks already smacked them up and if Giannis and Dame are healthy then I’m picking then over Cleveland as well. Their ceiling is Eastern Conference Finals.
Nikka worry about keeping homecouurt in the first round goofy and leave the elite teams conversations for the contenders

The Hawks also didn't have one player average over 20 points... Cavs about to have three.

There is literally no comparison between the '24-25 Cavs and '14-15 Hawks teams

Cavs playing elite defense with historically elite offense.

Meaning it's something these casual goofies have haven't seen before.

But a goofy can't stop being a goofy, so the casual posting with continue :laff:

nikka what?

They wasn't the story of the league but they had 4 fukking All Stars and the fukking Coach of the Year. Made it to the conference Finals and I remember clear as day, nobody in their right mind expected them to get swept.

fukk that other noise you talking about

They weren't the story of the league. Warriors were because they won 67 games and has the type of advanced stats that blew away the Hawks.

Cavs comp to the Warriors, not the Hawks... period. Stats say so.

Are the Cavs having an all time regular season so far? Yes. Do I buy the Cavs as contenders? Yes. Do I pick them over the field to win the championship? No.

Nothing personal to Cavs fans, but as of now their core is unproven in the playoffs and they’re firmly in the wait and see category for me because of it :hubie:

I think it's two things

1. Low expectations and no ranking had them anywhere near a contender coming into this season
2. New coach putting for emphasis on Evan Mobley being the focal point of the offense

Taking people by surprise can buy teams alot of unexpected wins
Naw we are past that point.

Every team is giving them their best game and still losing.

You could have said this at the beginning of the season, but at this point every team has the cavs game circled and they still getting clapped up.

Cavs have hit a special point in personnel, strategy, and togetherness, that few teams can/will.
