I think one of the reasons I am not feeling that new Young Avengers comic (aside from it reading like it was written by and for hipster douchebags) is because they aren't using Eli or even showing the character any respect.

I liked the original Young Avengers series, but it seemed like in Children's Crusade went out of it's way to downplay and shyt on Eli.

And you're spot on about the new series being hipster bullshyt. I'd probably like Miss America if she wasn't constantly saying "Chico".

My favorite hero probably has to be

Gawdur. Too bad DC doesn't/hasn't done anything with him. Dopest aqua character ever. My man is an amalgmation of black excellence.

He off panelled Death Stroke and ethered Black Manta and Vandal Savage He played them nikkas like a fiddle.

Kind of surprised more people aren't rocking with John Stewart as he was extremely popular (rightfully so) coming off the classic Justice League animated show. I remember people being mad at the Live Action film saying that they turned "Green Lantern white" not even knowing about how Hal Jordan is the OG Green Lantern

Storm is the most iconic black hero in comics. How is this thread possible if not for her success? Black Panther, Static, Steel, all of that shyt..Spawn..all of them. They were secondary characters. She was in the lead spot and was in comics outselling Superman/Batman at their heights.
