A couple things: You don't have to move to the sticks to get your kid in good public schools. As I mentioned, there are good public schools in South Cobb (which demographically is becoming blacker). My wife and I are fortunate enough to have the connections where our daughter(s) hopefully won't have to go to public school but if they do they will go to schools that are good and not in some random part of Ga.
As far as schools run by black people in Atlanta have you heard of BEST Academy? It's on Bankhead and there is a significant African American participation, mentorship and leadership. They're getting great results out there. The homie
@Warren Moon knows what I'm talkin about. The same can be said for Kipp Academy even tho it was not started by us it is serving our youth. So please stop with the generalizations and let's dig a lil deeper into what's really goin on out here
Yea it's not easy. Like I've said on here we want to live in Mableton but ideally have our daughter in private school...hopefully things work out but living in Kennesaw is a no go...ima SWATS cat, shyt living up here in Vinings was a culture shock when we first moved up here from Cascade
