How's it looking now?

According to the polls, looks like Melenchon is the only person on the center-left/left within striking distance of the runoff. But right now, Macron vs. LePen: the Sequel seems to be, by far, the most likely outcome ...

Yep and its been mad articles and videos by the media saying Macron is narrowing the gap and how the second round this time will be even closer

Now they are less than 10 points apart. Its scary cause imagine how it would look if Zemmour wasnt in the race

Why can't the left-leaning people get their heads out of their asses and support Melenchon?

What good is supporting 5% Jadot? Or 2% Hidalgo?

This is terrible news. I've never heard of someone losing a Presidential election while winning the youth vote. Alot of these far right populists elected in recent years have also won the youth vote.

Remember this years ago?

The western world hasn't really recovered from the 08 crash. less affordable housing, stagnant wages and so forth. Instead of fixing these things and coming with the solutions they would rather point at poor immigrants as the reason for all of this. Not the bankers or people hoarding wealth, but its all due to these immigrants.

Brexit, Trump, Le Pen use immigrants as scapegoats. Brexit is a disaster for UK. Trump said mexico would build his wall, but they ain't pay a dime and people breaching that shyt. Le Pen says alot of shyt, but she gonna need Africa like all the other previous presidents. When these people get in power and not accomplish the things they say, it only drives their right wing base even further right and then we see more right wing attacks.

2020's gonna be an ugly decade.

guess that policy where they all drop their differences and unite around the leading non far right candidate, if it looks like one of the far right candidates is gonna win is gonna really be tested

Democrats in the US always win the youth vote and often lose.

Still very disturbing.

I understand why some young people in France would vote for Le Pen. But a majority?

Why is the youth dynamic so different in France compared to other countries?

Some are saying that it won’t work as well this time because Le Pen seems less scary since Zemmour shifted the goal posts.

I think it’s different in America because America doesn’t go by popular vote and instead goes by the stupid electoral college.

Other countries in the world just look at total popular votes
