Is it possible that Kawhi is just not physically capable of being THAT guy. Last two seasons he has load managed and still finished the season looking shaky. Are we underestimating the severity of his condition? Maybe he underestimated it himself or overestimated the ability of PG an company to pick up the slack.

It just kills team chemistry when you have one player who doesn't participate with the rest of the team on the normal day-to-day shyt. Raptors made it work because they were already established and secure together with veteran leadership so Kawhi was slotted in to a team that was already playing great even while he sat. I like Kawhi as a player but the way that he and uncle Dennis moved had to have ruffled some feathers. I don't even think the veteran leadership thing has anything to do with it. With Toronto, they were trying to kiss his ass to stay so they allowed some shyt that wouldn't typically go down. He was also the best player by far on the team. In LA, since he has a multi-year deal and while still the best player, let's face it, there are way more brehs on the Clippers and I'm sure that they are on that "this nikka Kawhi think he better than us, fukk that nikka" steeze. Recipe for resentment when people aren't treated the same. I know that the sports world can create these imbalances but not everyone has the mental makeup to deal with it or tolerate it successfully.

This is a bit disingenuous for a few reasons:

- Story is only coming out because they lost, imagine the stories that’s come out bout the Lakers if they lost in the WCF

- Anybody who has hooped or played any sport for that matter knows the star is treated differently, these nikkas were stars in their college and HS teams that got this treatment

-NBA media lame, stories have no credibility and are clearly used to sway public perception

I kinda feel bad for dude because he obviously wasted years of his life in San Antonio especially after 2016 they couldn’t compete and no free agents would come because Greg a dikkhead. Man lead the the Spurs but all the credit went to Greg and his system man could’ve gotten an MVP award if Greg wasn’t a hoe. In 2016 lead the Spurs to 67 Wins then 61 Wins in 2017. The Raptors shyt was luck there is a version where the 76ers win game seven and Jimmy Butler becomes that guy. Then we have another version where KD doesn’t get hurt at all the Raptors get swept. Then we got another possible shyt with KD coming back not getting hurt again leading the Warriors from 3-1 down getting three straight chips and three straight Finals MVPS. But we live in this timeline Kawhi called a bunch of guys to come with him to LA including KD who had the surgery (this leads me to believe he knew they weren’t winning this year) Kawhi called James Butler. Paul George said yes and OKC made a killing. Kawhi could’ve joined the Lakers then once he got a wiff of Bron leaving he could’ve just went to the Clippers. Kobe the god thought about leaving the Lakers to go to the Clippers. It’s gets funnier the more you look at it. Kawhi by joining the Lakers would’ve had like an major opportunity to steal Finals MVP from Bron. So much was learned from Kobe like not only do you gotta win you gotta be the reason. That’s why Tim Duncan and Greg look funny in the light. They never repeated and Tim let Tony and Kawhi get Finals MVP. We were a Ray Allen shot away from Danny fukking Green Finals MVP. Make or miss league :mjlol:
