This is a bit disingenuous for a few reasons:

- Story is only coming out because they lost, imagine the stories that’s come out bout the Lakers if they lost in the WCF

- Anybody who has hooped or played any sport for that matter knows the star is treated differently, these nikkas were stars in their college and HS teams that got this treatment

-NBA media lame, stories have no credibility and are clearly used to sway public perception

Clipper players have come out said things themselves. Damn near everybody said the chemistry was off. TrezL spoke up during the season. Of course stars are treated differently. nikkas don't always like it though. They accept it based on how far that star takes them or their options. You really think this same no credibility media would sit on Laker drama all season?

All this is real funny especially after Doc said "It's our philosophy. I don't know what theirs are. I think theirs is whatever LeBron says it is, to be honest." :pachaha:

Projection. Especially since Bron was on his best behavior this year.

only one nba team every year wins 16 playoff games its never luck

Tie game game 7 off an inbound barely 4 seconds left you dribble it and let a shot off against two seven footers and the shyt bounce how it did. It’s spooky like we don’t even talk about how the Bucks got packed up quick. Greek freak and his guys are like Rocket Power the way they get flung out the playoffs.

I figured other players wouldn't like that having a dude playing every other game or sitting out back to back stuff...I am known to be wrong but just imagine being stuck with him on a 5 year max deal and he can only play so often and it will be even less as the years go on....Is an elite player who you can't rely on night in and night out worth the max?

Bruh, I had to dap just for this. :dead: You just never see people admit to being wrong on message boards.

As for the thread, there had been whispers all season about people not feeling the new team dynamic. I believe it was Montrez that said something about the chemistry mid-season. Most people said, "If you are going to load mange, you better win it all or it wont go over well in the locker room." How can you really be upset that people are looking like at these 2 like "Y'all bending over backwards for Kawhi and PG when we damn near got just as far last season." Its hard enough to accept disappointing seasons if everyone is on the same page, but when this is allowed, folks aint gonna want to hear it.

Especially since Lou Williams was praising Kawhi as a vocal leader just before the restart, saying he's only quiet towards the media as an act because he don't fukk with them.

And Pat Beverly was working out with Kawhi during the Covid-break and was praising brehs' work ethic. And said similar that breh is vocal in practices and group chats.

It's as Riffi says:

Hate these type of articles.

Most of the time it’s sensationalism by trash ass writers too.

Click bait because they lost. But that is par the course with new-age journalism.

If you've ever been on a team you know that it's impossible for this not to be true.

Same shyt happened to the 2013 Lakers (or was it 2012? or both?) when Kobe wasn't doing full practices.

It just kills team chemistry when you have one player who doesn't participate with the rest of the team on the normal day-to-day shyt. If that guy appears to have his own rules and there are egos involved, it gets even worse. Raptors made it work because they were already established and secure together with veteran leadership so Kawhi was slotted in to a team that was already playing great even while he sat. But Clippers didn't have that vet leadership stability to hold things together and had too many egos involved.
Reminds me of when Kobe randomly showed up to practice one day and busted they ass. Then left talking shyt to everybody. "shyt get real interesting when I'm in this mafukka"

we cannot compare kawhi in 2020 at age 29 to kobe at 34 when he'd already put in 16 years in the league and won 5 chips for the franchise at that point. of course he gets better treatment. he earned that shyt.
