I think alot people have pre-conceived notions regarding Arabs.
1) Not all Arabs are the same, Arabized Arabs and Qahtani Arabs(true Arabs), alot of arabs are a$$holes,but yemeni, bahrani, oman, kuwaiti people are cool as shyt. just like most wouldn't lump self hating dominicans as representitives of all black don't throw all Arabs under the bus
2) In the Ancient times Arabian pennisula was considered part of the Africa

It wouldn't be all that hard to spread tho, school a few generations in it and make it the primary source for media. Could just be paranoia on my part but the geopolitical games between the Arabs and the Horn have a long history. Brah, I've been back home several times and constantly stay updated on what's going on. You're right, Arabic is still one of the most spoken languages in the country, similar to Italian. Two colonial langauges that have lasted sine Eritreans consider themselves well-educated/intelligent if they learned either language. This is shameful, I admit, and I still cringe every time I hear an Eritrean light up every time I introduce an Italian friend of mine and they quickly switch over to speaking Italian. But, what can I do

To get back to the point, Arabic isn't and will never be a language that takes over the country. Simply because Eritreans are very devoted to cultural traditions and will never forsaken their language, first and foremost.

There definitely are geopolitical moves being implemented in Eritrea, one is Al-Shabaab trying to settle in Eritrea and recruit teenagers to fight for them. Eventhough, as you know, our president isn't what many hoped for after the war, he is still strongly against ANY type of outside influence, whether from the west or east.

We did get lots of money from Arabic countries, the same way we got aid from Israel when they were supposed to support Ethiopia during the war. Isaias was even taken to an Israeli hospital to heal and learn battle strategies......

Yea, Iran are helping us build mineral refineries so we can begin to process the gold we have in the country and Israel lease one of the Dahlak Islands for their second largest navy base.
