Input lag isn’t an opinion thing. It’s a factual thing that was literally calculated and reported on by a respected industry analyst.

If people in the thread don’t find it an issue, that’s their opinion, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s there.

He is wrong, and he's aware of the issue because nobody uses "BALANCE" mode in the history of gaming. There a balanced mode but balance is some Chinese shyt. And the digital foundry article that is cryptonite to you nikkaz breaks down exactly why you gotta use the balance mode just to play it.

Yeah he was saying he came straight off Elden Ring to a game that runs at 45fps and COULDN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE
But I remember a time when these clowns could tell a difference... sort of

kind of dumb shyt is this man? I don't have a way to test input lag in HDR. You said yourself your 4K set doesn't have it, so you don't have that problem to worry about.

HDR increases the processing on a picture, hence the increase in lag. If there are no sets out there yet that have been made to enable you have to HDR on without noticeably affecting input lag (critical in shooters), then why cop now instead of wait for something that does.

Or should I just say fukk it and accept that I can't have it on while gaming?
