These Xbot horror stories related to Sony's plans when Xbox goes 3rd party are corny.

Nintendo pretty much has the handheld space all to themselves and are they charging crazy prices?

It's just cope because they know it's over.
the concern trolling is lame at this point

Steam Deck still exists. Nintendo still has competition and welcomes it.
Do you consider Steam Deck competition only because it’s primarily a handheld device?

It hasn’t had any effect on Nintendo at all. They rarely offer discounts for their games, have increased the price of their games, along with no official price drop for the console itself.

But because Steam Deck simply exist that’s all that matters?

If Microsoft really does go third party and Sony has the only console best believe they can mark 100 dollar games and the 1000 dollar console is coming. As much as I dislike Microsoft’s business practices competition is always good and keeps the other competitor in check.

That being said it would be nice if a new challenger comes through. I think Apple has potential but they would need to be very serious on how they approach gaming.
Micro$haft is one of the main reasons that gaming is all fukked up in the first place, as archived in the below articles

That’s not how economics work breh. :skip:
Tell that to Nvidia. When competition died they drastically increased the price of their cards. No doubt we will reach $100 games but the price of consoles not gonna be $1000. I think the PS5 Pro will be a test case for more expensive consoles.

It goes both ways with Intel and AMD for example. AMD fell off and Intel just started re-releasing rebridged Skylake processors over and over again their foundry got behind on die shrinks because they didn't have to compete.

The PC CPU world is in a much better more competitive place now that Ryzen has brought AMD back from the scrap heap.

A monopoly is bad for all parties. Corporations who don't compete slack on innovation because they're all about maximizing profits and with no competition that's more about exploiting customers than innovation to beat nonexistent competitors.

I’m not getting this monopoly talk like it’s Sonys fault.

Y’all mad we didn’t buy Xboxes or sub to gamepass? Are we supposed to have sympathy for M$ cause they fukked up?
