Great movie but my only nit picks was that Bane was so ahead with plans on everythin even got the bats the local gotham channel in his cell but dont have a camera watching this nikka or a soldier at the top to let off a clip when he hit the top


Then the nuclear bomb is just on a 5 month parade around town n shyt? They didnt run out of food or have the govt just nuke the place already

Only positive to come out of it was both Bale and Nolan are done with the character.

The only thing that bothered me was how Batman defeated Bane in their final match. It was clearly established that Bane is stronger and faster than Batman. However, the thing that makes Batman is not how well of a fighter he is, but his intellect. He's a great battle tactician. With all those months to prepare, he beats Bane by just punching the shyt out him? He should have beat Bane in a more clever way. He could have at least had some special gadget that either Morgan Freeman had hidden away, or something Batman was able to modify on the spot to give him an edge.

no, he beats bane by punching his mask. now the debate if that was a tactical intent or a lucky hit remains debatable... but one he knew bane was in some trouble the second he punch it..so he kept on hitting it.

Yeah, the scene in TDK with Joker talking to the mob he said "a year ago the cops and lawyers wouldn't dare cross you. " In that year was when Batman first showed up to start taking out the mob.

This is the problem right here.. They tried to make an inception/masterpiece type flick. They didn't even succeed in doing that. Some of the sh*t that went down in the movie was borderline retarded. Exs.

Who the fukk is going to send their whole police force down into the sewers to combat a terrorist? Why not call in the national guard?

Why didn't the CIA dude unmask the criminals before taking them on the plane?

Gotham City is free of crime or "organized crime" for 8 years? The #1 crime rated city in the DC universe???

Batman puts down the cape for 8 years? Unbelievable

That's just some. I've read more detailed plot holes by others but

These dudes put a lackluster Batman flick on the screen and you dudes ate it up without think for yourselves.

1. granted sending the whole force wasn't wise, but by that time the threat of bane was real, and calling the governor to send the national guard wouldn't be time for them to make it. (also it was implied it wasn't the ENTIRE force) they were hunting for the remaining force within the next 6 months since...

2. they didn't want to unmask them to set fear out of them thru interrogation... have them thinking they were about to get shot and thrown off the plane. which was why BANE asked the obvious question of how silly that is.

3. watch TDK again. the joker basically destroyed organized crime by burning up their money, and with harvey dent locking up 90% of the crime mob, and then the DENT ACT pretty much finished the job.

4. because there was no crime, batman had no purpose... that's why he immediately donned the cape the split second he seen something finally about to jump off.

doesn't matter how long he was batman in the movie.

IN THE MOVIE, judged on it's own strengths/weaknesses, the timeline makes perfect sense.

- they'd won
- rachel was dead
- harvey was the "hero", batman wasn't needed

in fact, the existence of batman as the hero would only put harvey's role as gotham's hero in jeopardy. dude comes back, stops the bad guys, KILLS NO ONE, and we're still supposed to believe he went nuts 8 years ago? robin figured that shyt out on his own (and bruce = batman) even before his return.

not to mention that "one year" had on bruce physically. dude was shattered from head to toe, held together by will and technology.

saw this movie twice. bane was dude's swagger was on a trillion. everything thing he said was a quotable. movie was great I thought, perfect ending to the Batman trilogy.

Bruce Wayne is the mask not Batman. He just cannot go back to being Bruce Wayne.
Wayne died when he left Gotham.

Thats my biggest problem with the third movie

Nolan brought the Batman franchise to the promise land but what saddens me is that Batman can only go downhill from here.


Prepare to be @ Batman's next appearance in the Justice League film that will most likely be garbage.


I heart DC but they dont know wtf they're doing with that sh1t





Hopefully that new Superman flick is piff, I don't think Nolan would allow his name to be attached to garbage.



SIDENOTE: I know its just a movie and it's not 100% based on the comic, but you'd think that since Batman, Wonderwoman, Flash, Green Lantern, Superman etc are all part of the same universe that maybe Superman or somebody would have saw that sh1t Bane was doing on CNN or summin, realized that Batman was M.I.A and immediately flew down to Gotham and save the day

Oh Yes but ofcourse in Nolan's Mind he would respond how this is BATMAN Story..only about BATMAN and he wouldn't acknowledge anybody like that from The Justice League.

Unfortunately, we'll have to be upset by Warner Bros./DC with a Justice Leauge Movie.

Don't even stress the fighting scenes, they are one of the most garbage shyt I have ever seen.
Batman just straight goes and starts to fight bane, with only using one thing from his utility belt. I swear nolan's batman doesn't even seem to have any intelligence .

I'll explain why this movie was trash.

Firstly, Bruce Wayne was Batman was at most a year to a year and a half before he retires for 8 yrs. If this isn't a slap in the face to the character of Bruce Wayne/Batman I don't know what is.

Not only does TDKR trample on Batman's character but it undermines everything set up from Batman Begins and TDK.

At the end of TDK, it's established that Batman will take the responsibility for Harvey's death and those who Harvey killed. They give a whole dialogue b/w Batman and Gordan stating that the police will hunt him from this point forward. That Batman needed to take that responsibility on and play the bad guy b/c that's what Gotham needed. But in the beginning of TDKR none of that happens, why b/c Bruce has decided to stay home and give up his holy mission. To add insult to injury, he's given it up b/c Rachel died.

In Batman Begins and TDK, Alfred not only promises to never give up on Bruce but also tells Bruce that he needs to endure as Batman. In this one, he completely betrays everything he stood for, going as far to leave Bruce. Not to mention Bruce letting his "father" for all intensive purposes leave b/c of a dead girl who didn't even want him anymore.

Another thing, TDK explains why no one else can be Batman besides Bruce. His training wasn't everything that made him Batman. It was the anger he felt as a kid from losing his parents, which drived his entire core. To prevent ppl from suffering what he suffered. He believes this entirely, which is why he doesn't allow for the fake Batmen to go around trying to help him. More importantly, Harvey(Gotham's White Knight) couldn't pull off saving the city as Bruce hoped. Harvey failed. So why the f*ck would Bruce entrust the Batman mantle to some rookie cop b/c he said that he could tell who he was from 1 look. Bruce knew what it took to become Batman and it wasn't simply being an orphan kid with a simple moral compass.

Last but not least. He was able to beat Bane because he found fear again? Are you kidding me, and the way he found and overcame this fear is by making a jump that a 10 yr old child was able to make? Give me a break.
