That's my point, TDK should been named JOKER, because that is what they remember. Two Face doesn't last but a few minutes and gets killed. Nobody has a problem with that, but people want to argue about Batman spending months in a pit and recovering from a broken back, while JOKER's 18 wheeler does a complete somersault and he walks out of it like nothing happened. They have no problem with that though. These nikkas are choosing to see what they want to see.

But yet still TDK is still a better overall film than TDKR. Take away the Joker you still have a well paced, well edited movie. The dark tone and atmosphere was great visually and set the tone. Batman was energetic and out to kick azz and fukk shyt up. Bruce Wayne was swagged out. etc.
TDKR- I personally excused the smaller plot holes and suspect moments like basically the whole prison scenes and how did he get back to Gotham and whatnot. It was just a sloppy flick period. entertaining- yes but sloppy. The 'just nick of time' throughout the movie, another 'bomb will explode the city' plot, not enough of Bats, too much Catwoman, the twist at the end, SEC wouldn't have let those trades go down which made Bruce Wayne go broke, knowing that Bane hijacked the markets, the lackluster fight scenes, etc etc.
-Nolan got away with all this because he's "Nolan". a newer guy probably would've been released from his directing duties by the studio and just maybe a script rewrite would've also happened as well. Whether you're a Nolan stan or not you can't ignore these things. He's definitely a very very talented guy no doubt about it but TDKR is not some of his best work imo.
