Beautiful post for all the haters... :wow:
The Dark Knight definitely had plot holes but near as bad as TDKR. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the third act(two face) in TDK.. and most people have agreed that TDK basically= The Joker. He was the movie

So can bane ever take the mask off, dude needs to eat right?

The mask pumps him with painkillers.

So if he wanted to eat they probably just inject him with a bunch of painkillers so he can eat without the need of the mask.

When he's done, he puts it back on.

Gotham Electric has no sympathy, as soon as they found out Bruce was broke, they cut him off with the quickness :russ:

Stopped reading right here.

:heh:

Batman was a BEAST in TDK.

Low key proved his point tho.

And she still showed up just in the nick of time. Movie magic

:dead: @ "Nick Of Time" being brought up.

How often does a hero NOT show up in the nick of time?

you know what dissapoints me about this thread? not liking this movie as much as the other two warrants outright disrespect. just because some of us had some issues doesnt mean it was a badly made movie, it means maybe on a personal level it wasnt as great as it was to others.

basically if i dont like the movie as much as some of you, im deemed stupid, and idiot etc. i gave my reasons and im fine with those that disagree, but im annoyed that having a different opinon on a movie means im a fukking idiot all of the sudden some of you border on the fanboyism that you claim is for "nerds" or "cacs" etc

:what:

Folks in this thread are "arguing" WHY....I repeat WHY people don't like this movie as much as others.

And some of the reasons are laughable.

Like how I heard someone say that if 10 minutes were added to the movie to show Batman's recovery then it would have been believable :heh:

Exactly, how many times did Batman show up in the nick of time throughout the trilogy, fukk that, throughout his entire existence, comics, tv, movies, video games?

That's my point, TDK should been named JOKER, because that is what they remember. Two Face doesn't last but a few minutes and gets killed. Nobody has a problem with that, but people want to argue about Batman spending months in a pit and recovering from a broken back, while JOKER's 18 wheeler does a complete somersault and he walks out of it like nothing happened. They have no problem with that though. These nikkas are choosing to see what they want to see.

But yet still TDK is still a better overall film than TDKR. Take away the Joker you still have a well paced, well edited movie. The dark tone and atmosphere was great visually and set the tone. Batman was energetic and out to kick azz and fukk shyt up. Bruce Wayne was swagged out. etc.

TDKR- I personally excused the smaller plot holes and suspect moments like basically the whole prison scenes and how did he get back to Gotham and whatnot. It was just a sloppy flick period. entertaining- yes but sloppy. The 'just nick of time' throughout the movie, another 'bomb will explode the city' plot, not enough of Bats, too much Catwoman, the twist at the end, SEC wouldn't have let those trades go down which made Bruce Wayne go broke, knowing that Bane hijacked the markets, the lackluster fight scenes, etc etc.

-Nolan got away with all this because he's "Nolan". a newer guy probably would've been released from his directing duties by the studio and just maybe a script rewrite would've also happened as well. Whether you're a Nolan stan or not you can't ignore these things. He's definitely a very very talented guy no doubt about it but TDKR is not some of his best work imo.
