Zero black men on PLE's last year. Whether it's Lashley, Swerve, Ricochet, Shelton, Montez, Omos, now Melo... none of these dudes could get anything going under Hunter? He butted heads with a few. Lashley spoke on it. Ricochet spoke on it. Swerve spoke on it. Etc.

Stroman is on TV all the time. He's always pushed to a degree. Sheamus receives a lot of TV time as well. Lashley was literally sitting at home doing nothing because Hunter told Bobby "we have nothing for you" and that came directly from Lashley in an interview.

Specifically (and I used that word for a reason), Lashley basically alluded to Laveck thinking he had too many demands and got paid too much to continue in the "Laveck Era."

I'm sure Bobby wasn't kissing his ass like most the locker room was.

MMM (Mansoor & Mace--wrestlers who got released last year and started streaming before they went to AEW) straight up said, people was changing they whole personalities when Vince left and Laveck got in charge.

With Bobby being a favorite of Vince, I'm sure that made it even easier to get rid of him.

With Bron, I think Hunter has a spefic image of what a wrestling star is and Bron being a 2nd gen star helps because even Mr Perfect kid got a shot and he's ugly for a main event star.

Nah I get you, the thing about these conversations that throw me off about the comparisons to Bron is really just the racial component. I also haven’t watched recently though, so I’m sure I’m missing lots of context.. but when I WAS watching, I saw Triple h failing a lot of dudes who were capable of so much more, and many of them dudes were white, Hispanic, etc.

Andrade was a big FA signing and was really not doing anything. Dragon Lee is capable of so much more and he’s a lackey to Rey. Austin Theory had a face of the company trajectory under Vince, but Trips completely destroyed that and turned him into a complete bum. Dudes like Dom being a male valet when he’s the most popular youngin in that company and a nepo baby is nuts to me.. and then we got vets like AJ styles and Sheamus who could and would be major players anywhere else (AEW) right now, being fed to Logan Paul types and/or not being used.

There’s so many people, both guys snd girls who deserve better.. and of course we have black dudes like the street profits who should be tag champs but really aren’t on shyt. It’s a lot of that too. I just have a hard time personally saying Melo isn’t world champion right now specifically because he’s black and Triple H hate nikkas. If he wasn’t making equal pay to his peers or something, I’d roll with that.. but if he’s just in the same position as 90% of his coworkers in that he’s probably not being used the best currently, I’m not ready to be like “it’s because he’s black!” I think the booking just might suck lol

Except with one thing; wrestling is a work, you're as successful as the booker says you are.

Two 40 year old midgets nobody in mainstream America ever heard of got signed and immediately got the Tag Team Titles, why? Not because they are special in ANYWAY, but, because the booker likes them.

Most people had zero to say about Melo's booking when he was the #1 Overall Pick and went one on one with Cody in his first match.

I didn't like it--but, people loved that series he had with Andrande. But, Melo been lost in the sauce every sense Shinsuke came back and won the title.

Melo's booking is bad and he's too young to be booked like this if you ever want him to be taken serious.

I don't think Laveck sees much in him. I don't think it's because he's black.

The comparison to Bron, Tiffany and Lyra is because ppl are saying shyt like; well, he has to pay his dues or He's young and his time will come.

Yes, the other three are white. But, I think they fit what HHH wants wrestling to be.

That right there proved to me that this wasn't just a "TSC thing" or an "internet thing" because a reporter asked Hunter in a press conference straight up "why ain't black men doin shyt?" and then Hunter said "I don't see color" and everyone on here should understand what the answer means coming from a white executive

Omos could easily be doing what Bron Strowman is doing right now. That would make Jacob Fatu look even more impressive by beating him cuz at least Omos has some mobility. I still don’t see the reason for bringing him back from Japan to sit in catering.

Since we on the topic of non-black wrestlers right now. Theory…I think a lot of it is because of how high Vince was on him and H is trying to get away from everything Vince related. But this “is he gonna turn face” bit they been doing with him and Waller for over a year is insane. Dom…should be where Logan Paul is. At least he’s hated for the right reasons and he’s there every week. You could have a perfect weasel heel, have him and Liv be Edge and Lita 2.0 and annoy the shyt outta everyone.
