It was to cool her off.

They being too coy for it to be a shoot injury.

She came back and immediately ate a nonsense pin to a tag team champion.

Again, if Vince booked Jade this bad...

Damn I really hope that's not true and it was an injury but I thought the random ass loss to Liv was weird... Like, wouldn't you wanna make Jade's first loss something more meaningful?

:pachaha:
Booker has made it hella tough to roll with these last few days, and even worse, it makes Swerve at least half-right about him and Swerve himself is a cornball for the shyt he says too.

These stats in the caption tho... it leans toward SEMANTICS.

For the record, let's say the last 2 1/2 years, there have been 6 black singles male wrestlers- Lashley, Ricochet, Apollo Crews, R-Truth, Omos, and Carmelo (two of whom are now in AEW). There has also been two tag teams- Street Profits and New Day. Then, there's the women- Bianca, Jade, Naomi, B-Fab...

If we're ONLY counting male singles matches, that's an awful stat. If we're counting tag matches- Lashley & Profits won at Mania last year, Profits also won at Mania the year before, R-Truth won the tag titles with Miz at Mania last year, those are matches I recall, not sure if there's others. The Profits are also the current tag team champions. Also, Bianca & Jade/Naomi were tag champs and won matches at PLEs all of last year, they all won at Mania last year, and Bianca just won the Elimination Chamber... Now, if NONE of these Black men OR women were winning anything or being featured on PLEs, in a singles or tag team capacity, that would be one thing. But if you narrow it down to "black male singles matches on a PLE", it makes it look worse on purpose.

But this is ALSO why I say they need to add more and newer Black talent on the roster altogether. Waiting around for Apollo, Omos, or R-Truth to have a singles match on a PLE in 2025 might be a hot minute. The likelihood of an Oba, Trick, or Melo being on one in the near future is higher. It's just a fact- that's the solution at this point. Either that happens, or we keep acting surprised and upset that Apollo Crews ain't in the uppercard. I think they need more Black wrestlers on the roster, period.

But yeah, Booker gotta stop talking sometimes, or help do something about it since he believes he's so in good over there. This last week of him talking has been a bad look for him and that's unfortunate considering what he means to the culture of Black wrestlers.

True, but let's be honest;

Singles matches is a huge way to see who's important on a card. Unless it's like Roman, Seth and Punk main eventing Wrestlemania.

And the numbers game is bullshyt.

Lavecks makes sure to feature Samoans/Polynesians. Do the same thing with Black talent. fukk it.

This is what I'm saying: look who's there. Apollo Crews ain't it. Omos deserves a spot on the roster but he ain't it either. Truth is Truth, but his last serious run was in 2011- that would be like Ron Simmons getting a push in 2011. Hayes is new and still has time. Montez has been offered a singles spot but wants to stay in a tag team. Oba has been heavily pushed since the day he showed up in NXT, similar to the push Breakker had before he got called up. Trick has also been pushed in NXT especially after separating from Hayes, Ricky Starks/Saints came in with a fanbase and will likely show up on the main roster this year... who out of these names seem MORE likely to be seen/pushed in a singles capacity on WWE TV any time soon? It's not the ones who've been there forever.

If they ain't enough brothas, sign em. They don't it with the Samoans.

Apollo is hurt...but, ya'll kill me with "ain't it."

Dude is never on TV, but, I got watch the fukking Judgement Day bum asses every Monday!

Ya'll giving Laveck too much bail on Melo--he don't like him.

Omos don't even need to wrestle. Dude has a personality and people swear this the golden age of storytelling and they can't book him as anything else but a monster heel.

I feel like months after Oba and Trick get called up and do nothing, it's gonna be more of this "wait on it" talk.

No excuse for the New Day not being at the top of the tag team division, either.

This is what I've been saying... but people feel different. They think taking a 5th crack at Apollo Crews is the answer :mjlol: And "ain't it" is a viable thing to say at this point with him- man's been on the roster for nine years. There's a lot of MFs that lasted a way shorter time and made more of a mark. Personally I thought the Nigerian royalty gimmick was his best run but that's all we got outta him, it's just true :manny: But aside from that, they need more Black talent on that roster, simple as that.

Looks like New Day is heading toward the belts but that ain't gonna matter cause the tag belts "don't count", just like apparently, neither do the women.

I respect Booker for what he done in the industry but this is a bullsh1t statement. He know got damn well that this industry is a good ol boy network and the Samoans have the Rock connection to be more authentic with their presentation. Domineering Black men intimidate a lot of white people so the last thing the company is going to do is give a Black wrestler a strong persona. They may have more talent than a lot of the white wrestlers but they are going to give them either a comedic or a weak character to offset it. He cannot look better than a lot of the white wrestlers because the fans would reject it. We seeing examples right now with Bianca with the European audience. Even through she is a woman, certain fans feels that she is OP even through she is very talent, charismatic and just as strong as the most popular women wrestler right now with Rhea.

Triple K has history of subminimal racist shenanigans and his current booking has not change the narrative about him. Vince at least put feelings to the side if they can bring him $$$. Paul is not even trying and tries to tip top around it when someone calls him out about it. He has no real desire to elevate a Black man the same way he tries to prop mid ass midgets who remind him of how he was back in the day. I know that Booker is getting paid by WWE but he cannot deep down inside believe that it's a talent issue. It a fukking gatekeeping/glass ceiling problem that has always been there with wrestling.

It's been said before but it needs to be repeated, his comments after the elimination chamber where Montez was the standout star showed what time he was on. He praised everyone but Montez and then tried to give fake praise after Twitter lit his ass up.

If a Black man was booked as strong as Bianca, this thread wouldn't exist.

She's stronger than 99% of the roster. And if Jade got actually put together a decent match, she'd be the female Brock Lesnar.

I've said this a few times, I'm here to shyt on Laveck's bad booking habits, not call him racist.

Okay, maybe Apollo is too cold to savage. I'll give you that.
