Terminator 2 is probably the best 90's action movie.. there's little one liners here and there but when the movie needs to get dramatic and add seriousness and weight to what's going on.. it does.

Nobody would say there can't be any comedy... pretty sure people are discussing the movies where the comedy is overdone and ruins any chance for a dramatic moment.

It's not that serious. Even in the comics, you can find any Marvel character in some kind of humorous situation at one point or another. This isn't DC trying to be dark, realistic and boring. Marvel has always been on the lighter side. If you watched the X men cartoons, watching wolverine roast and get at everyone and anyone was comedy gold even if it was unintentional

We're talking about the biggest blockbuster movies of the past 15 years. There's going to be action, suspense, drama and comedy.

I'm sure most people that hate the comedy love DC and the "dark" tone they try to set

The big stories Civil War, Winter Soldier, Infinity War etc have a more serious tone compared to the others.

Marvel did it the smart way, they started with more lighter toned stories to build up their audience, once the audience was established it then allowed them them to get said audience back for a more serious toned marvel movie.

Yea I’m glad I’m not this stuck up, the comedy has worked in these movies for the most part.

However I don’t like James Gunn, I didn’t like GOG and suicide squad and peacemaker confirmed that this dude sense of humor doesn’t work for me. It’s adult but he goes too far with the gross out bits.

But other than that these dudes take these movies too seriously
