But Marvel does have balance and you've already acknowledged that.

The big stories Civil War, Winter Soldier, Infinity War etc have a more serious tone compared to the others.

Marvel did it the smart way, they started with more lighter toned stories to build up their audience, once the audience was established it then allowed them them to get said audience back for a more serious toned marvel movie.

Once the first Guardians of the galaxy happened it was over from there. I hate it!!!

Captain America movies wasn’t bad and are still the best so far imo but Thor smh man I can’t stomach it

The humor and the entire hero causes his own mess so he cleans it up plot has gotten tiring.

NWH- Spidey didn’t save any villain that he was trying to save, wasted time, and caused a multiverse rift

Wanda- told Tony how he’s the cause of everything but literally tortures a town and forced them to do her bidding

Sam- his family was threatened by a terrorist he told politicians wants a terrorist even though she killed innocent people and blew up buildings

Man I tried watching Guardians of the galaxy 2. shyt was just as trash as the 1st one. Do people really find it funny? Like people over the age of 12? It was garbage couldn't finish it had to cut it off. I might be the only nikka in the world who think most marvel movies suck cause of the over bearing corniness of the jokes.

I've been rewatching the MCU movies, and everything between the first two Avengers movies is the nadir of the MCU, with the exception of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

That was definitely the era when the MCU was getting stale and what people think of when they think of the low points of the MCU: corny quips, forgettable villains, and a giant CGI vomit fest in the third act.

Not to say that the later movies are that much better, but this five-movie stretch has been an absolute chore.
