Marvel's humor is whatever but it never bothers me. Only time it did have me laughing out loud is when Iron Man and Spider-Man were trying to come up with a plan with the Guardians. That interaction was legit funny.

I don't mind the jokes when it fits the character. For instance spiderman constantly cracking jokes is cool because that's his character. But I HATE how the MCU has turned characters like Thor and the Hulk into complete jokes. I hated Thor: Ragnarok because Ragnarok is supposed to be serious event and they had Thor running around making quips the whole movie.

Blame Joss Whedon. It's always been his style and he's the reason these movies are as big as they are.

"Most" is still wrong too. There are far more characters in the vein of daredevil and punisher than there are spiderman type heroes. MCU turned everybody into a wise cracking peter parker clone.
In comics Tony is an alcholoic
Antman beats his wife
Hulk eats people when he gets mad
Black Widow will fukk somebody to remain undercover
Hawkeye is basically john wick with arrows.
Cap is basically everything you'd expect from a white guy from the 40's

Mind you i read mostly the Ultimates Comics. but even outside of that they are not childrens characters.

Pretty sure we can all agree that Age of Ultron was the WOAT. But most of the others are passable outside of said GOTG dance routine. You have to have the villain be a threat at some point in the movie and Ronan was never used as a threat..

With the movies being pg13 I don’t think they care. James Gunn is the worst offender for me because you can tell he think them poop jokes and shyt are fire. Guardians 2 was mad corny because of those mid ass jokes. That whole taser face thing.

That's my point. It's needs to be over 50% to be most. For every Deadpool or Spiderman, there are like a dozen non jokey characters. Spiderman doesn't even standout in the MCU with his humor because everyone basically has his same shtick now

the netflix marvel shows were much better for this reason. frank castle and luke cage weren’t out here on no jokey jokes.
