sidebar: Teknight.....in the comics he would stick his dikk in anything.......ANYTHING that looked like a hole and he couldn't control it. This was kinda tame in that respect
In the comic it looks like he saves the world from a comet by fukking it to destruction. In reality he got killed by a wheelbarrow and revealed a tumor gave him delusions :mjlol:

This season has been pretty good for me. Maybe not as strong/focus as previous seasons, but good. Last episode had me intrigued all the way through. I be looking forward every week for the next episode. Even though we all knew breh was in Butcher's head. It didn't make me feel like :comeon:or anything.

After I finished The Bear last week. Seeing what other's online is saying about The Boys this season let me know that there are levels to disappointment. There are some people (in other forums) who think both shows just dropped "trash" seasons (they're entitled to their opinions). I think that's too extreme to say. I liked The Bear S3 but clearly it wasn't fukkin with S1 & S2 (those seasons progressed a lot and was laser focus). And The Boys is still one of (if not) the best TV show on television still. Even after this slight step backwards this season. It could also be that these shows has been so consistent in the past that the bar is too high. Either way, neither has been trash at least not imo. 10/10 is too extreme to. Both shows newest season's has been good, not great, and definitely not trash.
This is not the reason. It's not about the bar being "too high". It's largely greed and bad writing decisions being ubiquitous these days

The reason people are talking about trash seasons is because what happens with these shows is they get so popular the priority becomes "How can we keep this going as long as possible". Storytelling gets de prioritized and these shows gets padded with filler and the people are starting to see through it. It's also the reason characters don't die. So you end up with these shows that add characters with each season and these big ass casts with characters having nothing to do. That's how you get shyt like Frenchie and Kimiko having the exact same storyline for 3 seasons and side missions that add nothing to the main plot. These shows are full of busywork filler

It's very obvious that things are building to Homelander becoming Super Hitler and season 5 is about the final showdown. They're not ready to play those cards quite yet so you have this whole season of meaningless busy work side missions and depravity porn. It's common these days for showrunners to have the end in mind and pad out as much as they can to keep the popular show running because greed

Interesting that you mention The Bears new season and people's feelings towards it. I just finished the season and although I like the episodes as pieces of art the season wasn't about shyt:mjlol: but again the show is so popular these networks are like you better keep this shyt going story or not. Same shyt with the Boys right now.

People may not be able to articulate why they grow apathetic or tired of these shows or why they fall off, but they know something is off. It's the greed and these shows not having that much to say

Idk i just think like breh said u need to watch some actually terrible shows or falloffs if this is a bridge too far.

Is it as good as s1? Naw not really. Season also isnt even over :manny: last two eps could be the best in the series for all we know.

Ofc you wont know because you said you wont be following the show after this last ep :youngsabo:

That's the thing tho my patience for terrible is very thin so those shows don't get much from me anyway:manny:. I don't hate watch or make myself watch anything once you cross a certain threshold of bad. And what I said about these shows padding to keep going is facts. It's more than just The Boys

I also don't need two more episodes after 5 bad and one decent episode. I was ready to drop this shyt by episode two and didn't trust my gut:snoop:

But yea like I said I don't care what happens with this bullshyt anymore:mjlol:

Tek Knight was fukkin random holes on GenV, that dude was on the show "Future Man" and it was one of the funniest performances of the decade. i think 7 people saw it. he should be huge.

I actually liked Tek Knight in Gen V...well I enjoyed the character more. Despite him being a degenerate he was still menacing. His scene with A-Train where he's talking about his family fortune coming from catching runaway slaves and joking they would've caught A-train was the first thing that pissed me off, he wasn't on that shyt on Gen V and he was heavy on it this episode but either way they wanted him to be racist now. It was sloppily conveyed it would've been better since he's supposed to be like Bruce Wayne to try to play up himself as a Billionair philanthropist and have Butcher or MM listening in say "Oh, what a load of bullshyt. His family made their fortune recapturing slaves"

The thing was that this wasn't their twisted dark version of Batman but a dunk on how Kripke interprets Batman to be a fascist who beats up poor people and how The Batcave would be a sex dungeon. I've read some of his interview he has political brain rot that's why we're hearing more about our politics than The Boys and why he'll show every inch of a naked man and the only nude women will be the grannies Soldier boy was banging.

Anyway since I've mostly complained about this last episode some positives are I thought Ashely looked smashable in the red dress. I liked the conservative elite ghouls scoffing at HL's culture war buzzword salad. A-Train was a bright spot. I liked when the butler killed Tek Knight, it's like he put the character and us out of our misery.
