Finally wrapped this up and this season was ass until the last two episodes.

Gay shyt aside that arc made no fukkin sense. Kimiko already showed she loved frenchie in season 3 and now this Colin dude comes and she’s like nah go for bussy. That shyt made no sense, same with the gen v kids, what happened after Homelander picked them up from God U, they are just magically in 7 tower. Then my girl had to remind me Hughie found out about Neuman in season 3, not 4. she did literally nothing this season aside from, “U rich people, u run the world”. There was a great opportunity to expand on her and Gus Fring and they pissed it away.

I can go on but their problem is they just run from plot point to plot point unless it’s Butcher, Homelander, or Hughie related. Everyone else is a fukkin prop. It’s lazy writing and Deus Ex Machinas everywhere.

The best parts were A-train’s eventual turn (breh killed it the whole season), Deep’s whole loyalty to homelander arc (RIP Octussy) and Hughie’s dad. Really hope season 5 sticks the landing.

A-Train will survive long enough to help the crew out before HL probably kills him. Actually I can see A-Train taking out The Deep that beef is bound to have a final confrontation

Not the best season, but still enjoyed it for the most part with a great finale.

That shapeshifter going out with a rear naked chokehold seemed anti-climatic. I thought Kimiko was going to get up and hit Anne from behind while she was doing it thinking it was the fake one.
