Fair comparison...They're in the same class, after that its a matter of driving what you like and making a decision.

When I shopped around I drove a few Audis and Mercs, and an M3 that I almost ended up buying.

Money was a factor of course, that and I just didn't want a V8. I wanted the turbo motor. With it being cheaper it was an easy decision to make


Now that I've installed JB4 and DCI. Its very clear to me now that LSD is what I need to do next.

I actually like the 335 over the M3 the acceleration feels more linear and more similar to what I'm used to.


What lsd is going to be necessary? Should you have just bought an xdrive?

Why go with the LSD? Same reason I bought the JB4....Fun

Laying two stripes down is therapeutic.

Plus one of my really close friends owns a clutch and diff shop. All I have to do is bring the parts and beer.

It'll probably be the ATS-V...I would think they would go with a supercharger but :manny:

Review is pretty close but it sounds like they got held back a bit with their poor drivetain. They'll need to fix that before they think about adding more power imo.

My point was to demonstrate how hard a super car got walked by a 335i with a set of $3000 aftermarket turbo's. :ohlawd:

I'm sure it had more than that.

It would need an upgraded intercooler, oil-cooler, and possibly transmission (to handle that much power) as well.

Or is it really just the turbos? Cause if so, a nikka has $3k to put towards this right NOW.

You are partially correct. You would need catless downpipes, an upgraded intercooler, and a tune if you want to be technical. :ehh:

Also don't you have a N55? :scusthov: if so no upgraded twin love for you....

Yea, N55.

I can still make a good amount of power with just downpipes (coming for X-mas) and a tune (next March). I'm hoping to make around 350 whp and around 380 lb-ft, and retain the excellent gas mileage.
