You can't tell me nothing about bimmerpost my dude I spend more than enough time there to know to know how deep M3 fanboyism runs. The time I spent researching the 335i is how I became familar with the level of envy M3 owner's have.

 Are people supercharging there M3's for the track or to go fast in a straightline?

Also you continue to show your ignorance by not acknowledging the fact that N54 development is still in it's infancy. Next month at Shift S3ctor we will see how Supercharged M3's and other high HP cars fair against Vishnu's Single turbo 335i's. 700 Hp from a built S65 engine isn't all that impressive. When single turbo N54s have already reached over 650 whp on stock engine components! The fact that BMW overbuilt the N54 is what's going to allow this platform to continue to grow and evolve long after E92 M3 fanboys jump ship to the F80, which looks like it will be the car the E92 should have been! :heh:

what are you talking about man you fail to understand that I own both cars therefore I like both, I like all bmw cars, you are the fanboy here by trying to argue a point to me on an inferior car

and for your question about supercharging M's ..its the same reason people modify 911 Turbo's or drop a twin turbo in a lambo..just to make more power..

It's obvious you don't know what the hell you're talking about when it comes to modding cars. The modifications you are talking about are to make the cars go faster for drag racing. No one is paying UGR 75k to put a twin turbo in a Gallardo to use on a road course..The reason you twin turbo a Gallardo is for the top end power which is best used when racing in a straight line..:snoop:

The whole premise of my thread was to show what a 335i is capable of when modded. You are the one who came into my thread comparing the 335i to a M car. A modded 335i $ for $ is a superior performer to the M, PERIOD.

Case and point, name one area of performance your E93 M is more capable than my 335i. :umad:

:mindblown:I am done now I now you are just talking to talk...you asked why someone would mod a fast car and I told your @ss for more power and you are trying to talk about top end ect like and road courses...9 out of 10 people who drive a Gallardo dont put it on a track so dont come with that technical stuff, I told you they mod fast cars to make them faster..Dont come @ me like I dont know about what I am talking about because I offended you by not agreeing with you..

This whole post was just getting more ridiculous when you stared catching feelings and throwing low blows. The 335..is not a great car I am done with you..Its probably the best car YOU have ever driven but dont come at me like that because I dont agree with your argument

I have driven a 335 since 07 and many of my friends in the car club has this car because its affordability and cheapness to mod but dont act like this is some world class sports car or like you said "Supra of BMW's". I am done because this is not making any sense and you are catching way to much feelings I see I cant have a regular convo w u, saying all this craziness about M3 Fanboyism etc, smh..I can see if you were talking to a person like yourself who is a die hard fanboy, but I own both cars as a daily, no fanyboyism or favoritism here, strictly the facts from driving.

You have dudes that are tuning EVO's that will murder a 335 ...Hell I was once like you and thought that I could take many things from a dig until I got to about 100mph, I was embarrassed when my head got too big and got a reality check, maybe you need this to happen to humble yourself too.

I use to spank, modded civics, evos, srt8, vettes, carreras etc, I would race cars that were within reason, I never went into 911 turbo categories but I raced a regular vette that was modded and I didnt know not even a Z06 it was game over I realized I need to humble myself.

I am going Porsche or Audi I am not sure what to do at this point but time for an upgrade.

I'm not catching feelings in the least bit. I'm just pointing out to you that debating vehicle performance isn't like arguing about who's the best rapper. I have posted facts to support my stance while all you have is your own personal opinion. There are tangible metrics that can be used to measure a car's performance so your opinions don't hold any weight.

Where have I said that my car off the fastest in the world? All I said that there isn't a non supercharged M3 that can beat me in a race at any given speed.

Point out facts..? Look at your last line in this post and look at my second posting in this board..I actually said the exact thing you just posted and you are saying stuff about M3 fanboys jumping ship...I actually was giving you props on this and you turned it into a competition which is pretty much what most people do on e90post.com, I still am a member of that board so I see it all the time. All I was doing was pointing out the downfalls from being an owner of one for years.

I said the N54 is the engine that benchmarked the next generations of engines and everyone will benefit, not just people jumping to f80 it will benefit in every engine in terms on affordability and the sky being the limit to modifications and thats why I kept the N54 car

Its funny that you mentioned that it not like comparing about the best rapper, but it kind of seems to me like it is nowadays, before bimmer enthusiasts loved anything name BMW, now it seems like 335 owners have a certain "we are the best" mentality which is crazy because I love every car from the 1 straight up to the 7 respect every bmw driver when I see them on the road even if its a e36, because I know they have that good taste in a real driving experience.

tempted to get a 335 in the future but the well known issues are putting me off. either this or a 330i

I was dealing with the same issue you are now. I heard about all the bad qualities of the car (reliability being a HUGE concern) I ended up pulling the trigger on the car and I have been happy so far.

Have you taken a look at an Audis?

I think that their interiors are some of the best out there but at the time when I was shopping around I just wasn't sold on some of their exterior designs.

Though I could really get into something like an RS5 but the price was like :whew: plus I have already had my share of V8 and looking for something different. Thats why I didn't go M3, though that may sound dumb to some

Maybe later down the line I can snag one on CPO or something (if i'm making enough money by then)

I'm surprised we don't have people in here reppin' porsche or benz real heavy. Every car forum I go to there's always a couple people who swear by them and enter every euro thread with their shenanigans.

To be honest I don't like Benz put Porsche I am in love with. My friend is in the market for the rs5 I have two boys with the R8 and I am in love with them after driving.. I had my mind set on 911 turbo for about a year but still not sure yet so just playing it cool. Out of all German cars I think merc is a waste if you looking for a true drivers car

I feel the same way. You get very little performance for the price when youre fukin wit merc. I respect the AMG badge but I absolutely do not respect the price.

The reason I pointed out the RS5 is because a while ago I used to drive (but still own) a WS6 with a ton of bolt ons and 373 gear ratio in the back. I could walk on most cars i'd find just out driving around.. until a RS5 that appeared to be stock gave me a pretty good spanking from light to light. I blew it at the launch but I can normally catch people in 3rd, but he walked away from me. I was like :sadcam: and :whoo: at the same time

He may have had more going on under the hood but it didn't look like it.

This lil run makes the ZL1 look mighty unimpressive....:scusthov:

A 20 roll is a tough spot for a 335i due to the car's gearing. The 335i driver botches the start by hitting the rev limiter, but he still manages to start reeling in the ZL1 by the time they shut it down.

A stock ZL1 traps 115-117mph. They are pretty quick but an FBO 335 would have that result.

Im gonna buy a JB4 here soon. Just got the spark plugs changed. Hopefully the coils don't shyt themselves.
