Preston Holmes (producer of Juice): I was heading up Def Pictures for Russell Simmons, and we were in the final stages to put a deal together to develop movies specifically with and for Tupac. He wanted to do a black Western with all the coolest young Black actors of the time, a la Young Guns. He wanted to do a movie about Nat Turner’s slave rebellion. He felt like he had an obligation to use not just his talent but his celebrity to educate and to work towards progressive change in the world.
I'm def gonna see this in theaters. If done right it should be epic.

I`m really interested to see what they did to this for all these hipsters to "love" the film.
This what I want to know. This seems like a movie that would have Cacs feeling some type of way.

The second I heard the opening keys to strange fruit. I got a lot of hope for this movie salute to Nate Parker for starring, writing and directing this
