Nope, either the ring or the wedding, can't have me digging into my pockets for both. My wedding wouldn't require a loan, or financial planning and saving, my wedding would be under $1000 because I'm not stupid and don't need the unnecessary pageantry in my life.

i guess no one will be eating, definitely no alcohol beverages or open bar, only small banquet hall and invitations, guests would probably have to stand up because you cant cover table or chair rentals, probably room for a tuxedo rental for 1 day and the 1k is done....realistically you dont need a wedding with a 1k budget....just get that ring and go to courthouse...

Old films old weddings, new films new weddings. Actually I miss the old films with the old bra's. It looked like the girls were smuggling to pointy missiles across borders. Oh you're an innocent girl, I know. But you are dangerous too. Let that hair down and uncork those behemoths unto the world. When they do get revealed you confronted with two A-cup bee stings, as rolls upon rolls of toilet paper is peppered at your feet. The dream is better than the duped disgust of a reality. But one day, that bra will be taken off. In fact, it already has. And out popped two of the most giving creatures of God's creation. Many night I spent with my teeth rapped around that right nipple. There was a bar in the left, a righteous bar of fury. Subtle though. You'd barely know it was there. Must have hurt. A bytch bit my nipple once, softly. It still hurt. 36D that's ample for me.

dont get me wrong i absolutely LOVE wifey and cannot wait to marry her. but making all these payments is killing me. we on course but a nikka eating peanut butter sandwiches for dinner most of the week.

reception hall - 15k (everything included; sit down dinner, open bar, decorations, 250 guests, champagne toast, and table cloths and all that shyt)

her dress - 1200

her ring - 2500

my band - 350

photographer/videographer/dj/limo - 4000

church ceremony - 200

retreat for church ceremony - 200()

honeymoon - all inclusive 1 week stay at punta cana, dr with flights - 2400

plus apartment - 2500.(lowballing it cause we already have the bare necessities in furniture ie bed, couch)

TOTAL - $28,350

luckily, her parents and my parents are helping out a little and her brother buying invitations, my aunt buying wedding favors, her aunt making the cake, my mother and godmother buying the flowers, and we have 250 guests. so hopefully we can get at least 10k in gift money. i hope

But it has been her dream since she was a little girl and she deserves it and even tho shyt is killing my pockets, im very happy to give her her dream wedding.

but the practical side of me is crying

The only thing I was pissed about was that we paid for a people that didn't come or send a gift. Some people were pissed that we had a NO KIDS rule. I didn't give a fukk though

Averages can provide a skewed assessment of reality, because if someone pays an abnormally large amount for a wedding, or even 3 people, that could bring up the amount of the average to higher than what people are actually paying in general...which is why median is a better source of information.

Even though we said NO KIDS, we bent the rules for: my two nephews(they were co-ring bearers), the flower girl, and one of the bridemaids came from out of state and they're too young to leave at home, my best man's son, and our videographer (my wife's cousin) came from out of town too.

Food, drinks, decorations, a cake, the venue, the honeymoon, etc. Trust me, that shyt adds up quickly.
