The Black Community is full of lies and fronting.

Our womens standards are created from fallacies. Most women really think there's a baller that can rescue them from the workforce.

Anything less is settling.

Let Them search for the mythical baller. They will end up with nothing buta barrel womb and bitter relationships.

Mother Nature doesn't like superficial people. Greed and a lack of financial discipline is too many people problems.

the "median" over a period of time that wasn't covid years is $10K more than what was posted in the OP, for the youngest age group.
median means 50% of the group is above that level. so yeah, this is not the average person in a typical time frame. this was for the year of covid where a lot of people weren't working lol :dead:
:mjlol:
Either more people have you on ignore or they just skipping past your post.

Women took care of the house and put up with cheating and beating because they couldnt even get a bank account in their name.

This part is not true for the overwhelming majority of couples back then.....and as if nikkas aint cheating on one another in 2024.....

They are accurate for the majority of this country. Yall just don't live in the real world
Dumb ass, they arent livable wages FOR ANYBODY. I make almost double the highest wage on there and my wife ain't too far behind. shyt is still dumb expensive for no reason. There was a time we were saving thousands every month but looking over our budget and having the accountant at the firm look over our shyt, we found those thousands aren't quite the same anymore when the cost of EVERYTHING has gone way up

I with my current company for 8 years. Went from making 33hr to 55+hr. I'm trying to get back home for good though. I work logistics with no degree, just 20 years experience. I thought I would be working as a Amazon supervisor making 22-25hr.
:beli:
I've been applying hard these last 30 days. I've been offered a few positions and have more interviews. I've been referred to two GS12 jobs as well. I didn't think I was worth more than 80K. I applied anyway to positions I have experience in and have been pleasantly surprised.
:ehh:
My point is, there's positions and stability out there. There is nothing wrong with applying and seeing what they say. Also, try USAjobs as well. The govt mostly only grows, plus you get a little pension. Then, there is some upward mobility. It doesn't hurt to try. Praying and hoping is well. God is good. But, if you put in the hard work and apply, you never know what will happen. You got it.
:salute:

The federal government values experience rather than degrees. Degrees are an advantage but experience has a higher value. They want to see how you did the job/ensure you can do the job vs can you be trained to do the job

USAJobs is a mean ugly bytch but don't stop applying. You won't get a response with most applications, once you apply don't think about that application unless you get referred. The stress isn't worth it, just keep applying

Here are some tips that'll go a long way

  • Tailor your resume for the specific job announcement. Yes it sucks if you're applying to multiple job titles/series, but that's the most important part. You're going to have to make the agency think they're special with how much your resume, cover letter etc are tailored to that announcement
  • Don't use that bs resume format on the site. Upload your resume as a pdf. After I saw how my resume looked printed from USAJobs I started uploading my resume. The template on the site shifts things around, the pdf will be exactly how you want it to look/be read
  • Narrative paragraphs are the way. No bullet points. Go into as much detail as you can about how you did xyz
  • Read the announcements from top to bottom. Everything you need to know is in the announcement
  • You have to be able to provide a narrative response to majority of the required skills. They will train you for some stuff you don't know but you have to have at least some experience in the required skills
  • Always think you're worth more than you are
