How much shares you got so far

523…I feel for you $45 and up people I started buying at 9 and some change and my avg is 11.30 on my big account and 23.74 on my small bag…Some people I know think I’m crazy they cashed out last month when the stock went up but I’m riding it out because most of the money I invested was from doge coin and I had the money sitting in Robinhood when I got put on to AMC ..it’s worth the risk to me I don’t see this happening again for a long time if ever in my life so why not .

:picard: They must be rich though.

There was a breh here saying someone on reddit sold their mustang to fund their AMC stock.

The stories over are reddit are fukken sad though.

Here we talk about buying lambos and private islands (:lolbron:) over there some of them are talking about using the money to pay for their cancer treatment bills (:mjcry:).
Could be hedge fund pr fud

remember that

Scared money don’t make money.

Anyone who’s made a bunch of money on the stock market has endured some red.

Ironically it’s the people that can’t handle red that end up losing money and running away.
Ok so what’s the difference in getting out when it was $30 a share and sticking with AMC until it hit over $60 a share just to ride it out all the way back down to $30. Difference is that I sold and saw real money. You just riding the wave. I had no interest in a wonky meme stock like AMC & I don’t believe in get rich quick. I’m doing very well, no need for the lecture.

I just had $1200 magically pop into my account this morning. Transferring $500 of it to my fidelity account to cop as many as I can with that 500, plus the $12.77 I got in my account right now. :heh:

The money that popped up turned out to be the taxes I paid on the money I got from unemployment during covid last year. I wasn’t even expecting it. :yeshrug:

Still holding. Period.

Everybody has their own reasons for staying in and cashing out. You made your little money and dipped...God bless.

Imagine going up to a table at the casino trying to lecture somebody for being up $300 and staying at the blackjack table..."hey man, if I was you I'd get out while I was ahead bro". I'd be liable to slap the shyt out of you while I was playing my hand.

We get it, you made some bread off AMC...now move along.

Nothing, this is the only thread where you’ll see folk acting like taking profits and getting back in at a lower price is a bad thing.

Although I’m 100% sure that despite the loud rhetoric a lot of people have been taking quietly some profits (as they should)

Nope plenty of people have talked about taking a bit of profits.

Whole point of this play and the only reason it’s made it this far is people holding. So yes people in this thread are adverse to people coming in talking about selling. Only way this works is if people hold. Plenty of other stocks and plenty of other threads to talk about trading and investing.
