Jets just fired Robert Saleh - if the Ravens don’t get that defense together, they should be on the phone trying to get him that coordinating job ASAP
It took Mike McDonald time to get the defense in order his first season as DC

I think it’s too early for them to get rid of the DC. He’s just getting started. One thing people ain’t mentioning is that his D is making teams one dimensional by shutting down the run. Teams haven’t had much of a choice but to throw a lot of passes and they’ve faced some of the best QBs in the league so far outside of Minshew who torched them last year with less weapons
Yup and Dak had to drop back 51 times against themFacts
Rashee Rice+Kelce+Mahomes + Andy Reid calling plays
Devontae Adams + some crazy calls from the refs that didn't go in the Ravens favor
Jamar Chase + Higgins...2 WR1s
Which defense wouldn't struggle?
You kinda get the sense, they're setting Zac up for failure bringing on Pees.Ravens hire dean pees as an advisor to Orr . Because that’s what the defense needs. A coach who telegraphs all his blitzes, only ever blitzes through the middle of the line, always plays his defensive backs at least 8-12 yards off the receivers, teaches the worst tackling technique in the league, always leads the league in blown coverages and blown 4th quarter leads, never makes any adjustments, and never makes sure his top corners cover the top receivers on the other team . Why not bring cam or Trestman back while we’re at it? Hiring back a assistant who was a miserable failure from beginning to end is a fireable offense for whoever made this call.
Source: Ravens bring back Pees as adviser to DC
The Ravens hired former defensive coordinator Dean Pees as a senior adviser, a source told ESPN.www.espn.com
I’d rather have Greg Mattison back if I had to pick between the two and he was so bad they should’ve left him behind in Pittsburgh to find his own way home after how his defense forgot to show up for the second half of that playoff game in 2010. Cam was less harmful to the offense than this guy was to the defense. All they had to do was keep Billick or promote Rex in January of 2008 . Horrid doesn’t do it justice. He might be the worst coach at any level this team has ever had on its payroll. Maybe the worst defensive mind I’ve ever seen. He’s the guy who cost the pats an undefeated season calling a run blitz on 2nd and 10 from the 12 yard line in an obvious passing situation with 40 seconds left and left a 5’8 corner alone in the red zone with a 6’5 receiver. Then he called that same blitz for us with Super Bowl 47 on the line on 4th and 5 yards . Harbaugh is 100% just looking to cover his own ass and will throw anyone under the bus it takes to save himself with this move. You kinda get the sense, they're setting Zac up for failure bringing on Pees.
Guy is horrid and left an extremely bad taste in the fan bases mouth.

Who if any from this list, you think the Ravens should bring in?
Xavien Howard, Frank Clark, Corey Davis or Micah Hyde would be good situational guys IMO.
I say Howard for obvious reasons with the secondary struggling.
Clark would help force Harrison exactly where he needs to be, to special teams.
Wouldn't hurt kicking the tires on a receiver. Corey's a big guy that could help move the chains potentially...if he can stay healthy.
Hyde could help them part ways with Eddie Jackson and maybe raise the level of Marcus Williams who seems to be playing tentatively so far.
How are they setting up Orr for failure when it was his decision? You kinda get the sense, they're setting Zac up for failure bringing on Pees.

Tbf that Matt Elam pick during his second season as DC set the team back some. And the D was on the field so much becuz they couldn’t run due to Ray Rice falling off a cliff. Then ironically they lost Orr to that neck injury. But Pees had a top 10 D every year but two. I don’t have a problem with them bringing him back at all if that’s who Orr is comfortable withthese nikkas bringing Swiss Pees back
yeah we’re not winning shyt this year
Meh if Pees is just an advisor I don’t see any issue, as long as he’s not gonna be calling plays againHow are they setting up Orr for failure when it was his decision?
