Movie made Ariel black but kept Eric white.

They should have made him Asian or something and just mixed everything up. Make Eric's mom white and the dad Black etc. Go full multicultural.

Problem with American movies is that they go Political Multicultural. So....that means white men with every race of women. Sometimes it's Black women with different races of non-white men....but Black men are invisible unless there's a Black female lead or the breh is a eunuch being friend zoned by Becky while she waits on Brad.

Breh

Eric’s “mother” here is a BLACK WOMAN :scust:

Her former husband was a white man and now she’s with an INDIAN MAN.

Hollywood went TOO FAR with this movie.

There is a black bedwench Queen who has a WHITE “son” who is the prince. Her NEW partner is also an ASIAN Man.

You then have a White Male Sea King who has 2 black daughters and a bunch of other non white daughters.

Then of course the Black daughter gets with the WHITE PRINCE.

ALL the black men were either SERVANTS, MERCHANTS or FISHERMAN :mjpls:

This wasn’t no damn “movie” this was a FULL ON ASSAULT on the black family unit and black men via media PROPAGANDA.

The Sony Producer/Amy Pascal says the move is a love story between Miles and Gwen.

The co-director added more details that it's a love triangle between Miles, Gwen, and
Spider-Punk (black British Spider-man) aka Daniel Kaluuya's character

That said, I don't think it's any coincidence that they downplay/omit this in the trailers, or strategically cast a black Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman / Issa Raye).

Like what some of yall mentioned, not a peep when it comes to Ariel but with Miles the marketing gotta let it be known this is not a black-woman hating movie nor is the plot about plowing a becky at the end :whoa:
(that's just the subplot :hubie: :mjlol:)

Like @O.Red told yall, we ain't walking on no egg shells. See yall at the theaters :salute:

which is laughable because her character will most likely be happily Boo'd Up with a white Spider-Man with Miles and Gwen ultimately ending( tragically):mjpls:

that's why i got to side-eye :mjpls:the little mermaid having no visible black male imagery you no for a fact if they casted a live action black Disney prince in a interracial romance they would also cast a black women as queen even if they had to make up a character just for the movie giving the black prince a sassy little know it all princes sister (shuri reference) they would do it just to give black female's positive/strong imagery

Disney would never try and sale a movie to black family's with no black female imagery but it's perfectly find to sale a movie to black family's with no black male imagery with no backlash from the usual she butter twitter clowns
:mjpls:

protect your neck black men muthafukka's ain't for you like you think :mjpls:

Really?

This film will get plenty of streams this Memorial Day weekend. Big uproar when it was released because even though it depicted Black war heroes, there was not 1 depiction, reference, or even a photo shown of a Black woman in the film.
An inter racial love story was included, though

The Keystone State
My nieces loved it (3 & 12) ... so few seats left my sister had to take them to the 930pm showing.

I hope the movie continues to do well.
