K, so I just got done watching Silent Night, Deadly Night. It's a bad movie but I want to see the next one lol!!! Right now I'm getting ready to watch the OG Prom Night!!!

Lol, cool. Encore has been showing a lot of throwback horror movies. I might luck up on this one.
I actually like the remake more.

I think I've seen Night of The Creeps as a git but couldn't remember the story and title which made it real hard for me to find it and then I just forgot about it. I didn't know Slither (which I really liked) was a remake of that. I'm gonna try watch it now.

Slither wasn't a remake of Night of the Creeps despite the subject matter being almost identical. James Gunn actually claims that he hadn't seen Night of the Creeps till after he made Slither. Gunn says he was inspired by the 1975 horror film Shivers and I bet Fred Dekker (the director of Night of the Creeps) was probably inspired by Shivers too.
