Just found out they remade 'It's Alive'.............

I read your post and thought to myself: "They remade It's Alive? I need to find that so I can see how they did", and then I watched the trailer and immediately remembered watching it and hating every second of it.
I must have blocked it from my memory.

I just watched Poltergeist last week, damn that was horrible. I watched it on my computer and Jesus they butchered it. Told my son we will watch the OG this weekend. But fukk man the genre is done, I never thought it would happen

Never seen the OG version but while it took a while to take in the concept of the movie. It was a decent revenge flick, of course they ruined it and made 2 more sequels.

Well I didn't like the remake. It was okay, compared to the original.

The actress in the original was pretty decent to be honest. She carried the movie. The hicks were way over the top so it felt a little hokey but the movie works a lot better with that 70s grainy type quality.

The remake is glossy. It doesn't capture the vibe of the original. The acting is even worse than the original because the script is so stupid and the then the violence isn't even as realistic.

I saw the OG version when it was first-run.......back when you actually had to have a parent or guardian with you if you were a minor.

This flick let me down on SOOOOOO many levels that I've yet to see another remake.​

i actually thought texas chainsaw massacre remake was alright...but that prequel was ass
