K, imma keep bumping this thread because the originals listed have been running on the movie networks lately. Tonight An American Warewolf in Paris is coming on. Although An American Warewolve in Paris is a shytty, highly dismissed, and snubbed sequel/remake (would y'all consider it a retelling?? ) I've never seen the original. It won't be on for another hour and I'll prolly be asleep before then. So imma record it to the DVR and watch it later. I'll be back with my thoughts afterwards.

Kay, so i jsut finished American Werewolf in London. It was just okay, to me it didnt pick up until he finally transformed into his wolf form. I wanted to see that becasue it was heavy inspration for Michael Jackson's transformation in Thriller. But when it finally came it was :gladbron: &:blessed:. That said, since David got killed in the end... those people he killed are still undead since David didnt kill himself right?:patrice:He's just dead. Anyway, i wnated to read up on the movie a bit. Went to wiki and read the connection in this and the Paris sequel. It turns out that David got the nurse pregnant and the baby she had was the chick in Paris....So i guess this is David

Werewolf in London is my favorite horror film of all time. It's shame it took u so long to see it but better late than never. They were supposed to remake it but looks like it's not gonna happen, thank god :blessed:

I will never forgive them for what they did to Freddy Krueger, outside of blaxploitation films N.O.E.S is my all time favorite franchise.

I saw the original and didn't like it. The best part is the opening scene
Of the original ? Of what I saw last night it was just like eating warm potato salad... I just wasn't satisfied with it. I guess I needed to see the first part to fully feel the intended vibe of feeling that someone is making your life feel invaded.

Yeah I rented it in college and watched it and I was bored to death after the opening. Which is probably why the remake took the opening and made it the story for the whole movie rather than just the first 15-20 min

Slither wasn't a remake of Night of the Creeps despite the subject matter being almost identical. James Gunn actually claims that he hadn't seen Night of the Creeps till after he made Slither. Gunn says he was inspired by the 1975 horror film Shivers and I bet Fred Dekker (the director of Night of the Creeps) was probably inspired by Shivers too.

:ohhh:......Good looks.

I remember 'Night.....' since that was one of the first flicks I watched when we first got cable in the 80's. Never saw 'Slither'.

Just found out they remade 'It's Alive'.............:snoop:

The original When A Stranger Calls always felt like a Lifetime made for TV movie to me.
It was still miles better than that shytty remake though.
