I was amped for Haley's turn as Freddy too but he was let down by a shytty script and bad direction.
The new Carrie wasn't terrible but it also just seemed completely unnecessary when you look at the minimal changes made from the OG film.I liked the new carrie
I also thought them casting Chloe Grace Moretz was a bad idea. I figured if they were going to do a remake of a classic film then they would attempt to stick closer to the book by casting a Carrie that was unattractive, a bit overweight and had a face full of acne. Moretz's Carrie was a pretty girl who dressed badly.
the acting wasn't that great from that girl who was picking on carrie i'll admit, it felt like she was trying too hard.
I thought Chloe and Julianne did good, especially Julianne she did a great job at making me hate her. The cell phone was the perfect way to make the story modern.
the whole fukking up the town was a bit much though.
Terry O'Quinn was perfect casting as the lead in the original movie though.
He was so creepy.
And it starred one of my favorite Scream Queens, Jill Schoelen.

You have good taste in horror flicks, bruh.
I don't get the need for them to give these characters in depth motivation for why they are the way they are explain shyt to the most minute detail. I didn't need to know that Michael Myers became a killer because he was raised by a white trash stripping ho. I didn't need to know that Jason used abandoned mining tunnels (adjacent to a fukking lake) to always end up in front of people he's chasing. And trying to add some sympathetic beats to Freddy Krueger's origin was just idiotic.
Its gonna suck because it will tone down the tranny fukkery. Angela's whole reason for being a crazy serial killer was the fact she was forced to be a tranny and in todays PC times there is no way any studio will co-sign that story.
That tranny angle gonna get blown wide fukking open early and right in the first minute, gonna make her the most sympathetic psycho of all time.

Dimension Films is coming out with "Halloween Returns", a sequel to Halloween II.
And they're gonna just act like Halloween III & H20 never happened. Don't know how to feel about this....I hope they can pull it off.

I enjoyed the first, I also liked the original because my sisters & I would joke that my God brother was Damien because he was bad as hell. So I'd mock the music that would play when Damien is doing his evil deeds when my I found out my God brother was coming over. That lil dude is 16 now

But H2O was decent, I just hated how they followed up with it by saying Myers put the paramedic in his clothes and that's who's head got chopped off...
I loved the music..and of course that scene at the party but other than that, it always made me

That's why they're tossing it to the bushes..they've screwed up their continuity so bad, what else can they do??
