If you've ever read any King books, you'd realize that anyone tasked with bringing that nut's imagery to the big screen is damned-near impossible.

After I saw The Shining, I went back and read the book...............:damn:

Just remembered another remake.......Pet Sematary............:snoop:

Matter of fact, that reminded me of another re-make I saw........Pet Sematary.............:snoop:
It got remade? The one with Edward Furlong wasn't the original ? Or was it remade after that one?

OG was in 1989 and had the guy that played Herman Munster in it.

Re-make was a made-for-TV movie.

You're talking about the sequel in 1992......

Here's the OG......

Prom Night is one of my favorite horror movies ever, it's got that disco feel to it that makes its so bad it's good. The soundtrack:ohlawd: Watched 10 mins of the remake not even my love of Britney Snow could save it.

I actually liked the hitcher remake thought it was violent as fukk and watchable plus Sophia Bush looked dope as shyt:yeshrug:

Of the holy trinity of horror remakes (F13, Elm Street and Halloween) Friday the 13th was the least offensive, it's only flaw was actually trying to explain how Jason got around so damn fast:aicmon: It also had one of the greatest pair of t*ts to ever hit the screen.

The thing in general I wish these movies would stop doing is trying to explain or change shyt. We don't need to know how Jason can move around quicker then light, or feel bad for Freddy Krueger. Just keep the shyt like the original and make it more violent and add in more titties. Slasher remakes try way too hard that's why they end up embarrassing.

Sleepaway Camp is def getting remade btw I saw something a couple months back.

I was so exited when I heard Jackie Earl haley was gonna be Kruger, cause i found him bone chillingly creepy in Little Children as the child molester. He was too convincing that I knew him in Nightmare on Elm Steet would be cake.
Warning he's a pedophile:

And then you got him as Freddie:

Boy was I wrong.

Felt the same way little children was crazy, I was expecting nothing but the best:russ:

He wasn't even the problem with that movie, he wasn't given enough to do as Freddy. It was so forgettable:snoop:

You have good taste in horror flicks, bruh.

I don't get the need for them to give these characters in depth motivation for why they are the way they are explain shyt to the most minute detail. I didn't need to know that Michael Myers became a killer because he was raised by a white trash stripping ho. I didn't need to know that Jason used abandoned mining tunnels (adjacent to a fukking lake :stopitslime:) to always end up in front of people he's chasing. And trying to add some sympathetic beats to Freddy Krueger's origin was just idiotic.

Its gonna suck because it will tone down the tranny fukkery. Angela's whole reason for being a crazy serial killer was the fact she was forced to be a tranny and in todays PC times there is no way any studio will co-sign that story.
