Terrell Davis being in the HOF is laughable.

There's a huge logjam of receivers rn that are all kinda just waiting their turn
Torry ****, Steve Smith, Reggie Wayne, Andre Johnson, Chad Johnson

The 2000s was a real golden age for receivers but it's like the voters always kind of like to fukk receivers for some reason
TO had to wait cause the voters are fukking lames. That was an easy first ballot that was gross they made him wait

Albeit a kinda ESPN made up stat but still :wow:

Jimmy went for 291 against that goat Ravens D

The 93-94 Bulls still won 55 games and was a game 7 from going to the ECF so was that Michael Jordan guy really that good. :what:
Trash analogy. MJ was prolific before Phil Jackson arrived. We never saw TD minus the Shanahan system. But we’ve seen the Shanahan system minus TD and it was still prolific. :camby:

Eric led the league in rushing when traded to the Colts. And I advice you watch full games of Eric. He had fukking moves.

The issue with Eric is that he made the game look so easy that its used against him.
so youre saying hes not the og darren mcfadden? i can understand being more appreciative of a different style back but noone can deny his output. only back to have three 1800yd rushing seasons. led nfl in rushing 4 times, rush yds per game 5 times, scrimmage yards 4 times. only back who has a better resume in those categories in nfl history is jim brown.

None of the guys you posted did what they did while running downhill.

What you fail to see is that Eric dikkerson continued to gain yards, always at top speed and ran upfield while at the same time putting moves on people. He didnt have to run stop and go like the guys you posted. He didn’t commit to going laterally. He went laterally while going downhill. That is an elite and unique skill and unfortunately his smooth running style made the game look too easy and as a result he’s devalued. And it’s funny how you completely overlooked that he went to another team with a poor office of line and still at the league in rushing

You can't be serious. All of Eric dikkerson's runs look like Wide Receiver highlights. He is just running into open field due to amazing blocking. Him and Trash Davis were two of the most non-move having RBs of all time. They had good vision, that's it.

Tiki Barber is better than both of them. Yeah, those RBs had better stats, but Barber had way better moves.

Football cards stats people are the worst :aicmon:

NFL needs an honorable mention wall in the HOF. No ceremony, statue, or jacket, but you get your name put on the wall as a memorble player. It would be the perfect place for alot of these running backs with short careers that showed flashes of greatness. Guys like Chris Johnson and Jamal Charles belong as honorable mentions. And a bunch of WRs.

Pass Blocking and Run Blocking aren't synonymous.

No RB is doing what he did without the line creating those huge lanes for him.
Again….dikkerson led the league in rushing with a garbage line in Indy. He would’ve led the league in rushing two years in a row with Indianapolis if he didn’t miss his last two games.

Eric dikkerson was so smooth and made the game look too easy. I disliked his style growing up and didnt realize what he was doing was never to be seen again. All those runs you posted…Eric did different. He shook dudes while his shoulders were square to the end zone at all times.

Niqqa….that shyt is not normal.

You dont understand. He made it look too easy.

What you’re talking about is the same dumb shyt people were talking about when Brady was leaving the Pats. Because we hadn’t seen Brady outside Beli’s system, folks were questioning whether Brady’s greatness was him or Beli. It was dumb then like it’s dumb now like it will always be dumb. It’s entirely possible for there to be a great player and a great system. They’re not mutually exclusive. One doesn’t absolutely override the other. It’s not like you diminish what Kobe and Shaq did because they didn’t do it before Phil Jackson came to town…or do you? :patrice:

They both were great. It’s entirely possible TD was great and Shannahan and his system were great. It’s not mutually exclusive. Or do
