If the Democrats do their job in the Senate, it will never get to that point. If they don't, then would that not support what people are saying about them?
You know at this point, the Dems largely have been quiet this week so idk, it's a toss up. We just gotta wait and see and stay vigilant.

He can suggest it, but it would need to be ratified by the states for the change to go through. They do not have the numbers to do that.

"The amendment process is very difficult and time consuming: A proposed amendment must be passed by two-thirds of both houses of Congress, then ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the states."

That means he would need 38 states to get this through. Since 19 states went Democratic, there is no way to get this ratified and it is really an empty proposal. He also does not have the numbers in the Senate to even get it to the states, since he would need 66 Senators to support it too.
Honestly if the Dems think Obama would run, they would get be all over this.

He needs 66 Senaters too. So he has to get past two humps. I have not looked at the ratio in The House, so it may be he does not even have the numbers to get past them either.

Edit: Just looked it up. The House is 218 Republicans and 215 Democrats. He does not even have the numbers in The House to get this through. Remember, he needs 2/3rds of Both the House and Senate to get it moved to the States for ratification. So yea, you can be afraid of this if you want, but I know they are no where near the point where I have to fear anything.

To help stave off any possibility that this will happen, the Democrats need to be out there campaigning to take more seats in both halves of Congress.
That makes it a lot more difficult then. I thought it was simple majorities in both chambers to send it to the states.

Might not want to let the genie out of that bottle. There were 2 legitimate attempts on Trumps life, how many do you think would make attempts on Obama if they tried to run it back? :francis:

They really wanna open the door for Obama to run again

Nggas giving heart eyes and dappin this, man it’s a whole new world. If Obama ran again he’d lose. Thats how far gone nggas are.

I can see it now, it’s 2028. The US is in disarray. 6 amendments have been overturned. Slavery has literally been reinstated. The fate of the universe is in the hands of the black vote.

Nggas: but what are the taaangibles tho. And where his daddy from :jbhmm:

That would be a mistake this go around for Obama. Trump showing tangible matter. At least tangible for whites

The rules have changed. Next Dem candidate needs to go in there and put a blow torch to Trump's policies and MAGA. No half measures, no niceties. Install their agenda...folk aint tryna curb stomp people then they out. That's the good thing about all this. It sets a precedent. I think a guy like Gaven Neusome can go in there and be a cold killa.
