from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
only safe if it hits at tip range, which I'm usually not comfortable with trying for outside of guaranteed set ups since the recovery is so terrible (you were launching everything I whiffed in the mid range, even HBS d1+2). Anywhere else and it's launch punishable. It can also be easily sidewalked to the right so it's not that good of a move compared to Hei's bullshyt ff2. twin pistons is the Bears best move imo, but it rewards great defensive knowledge and I don't got that yet.

ff2 can only be punished by a limited amount characters because of the pushback kinda like Paul's death fist.. But it's great as whiff punishment as well as for hitting grounded opponents.. and it can be sidestepped if times perfectly. it will catch a side walk.. Twin pistons should be use more as a block punish.. It's less safe than ff2..
I would utilize Kumas poke and Bear stance game a little more.. he has good safe options from BS

I do need to use 12 and df1 from HBS more. Tend to dial in d1+2 fishing for that CH launcher.

FF2 does have a sweetspot where it's basically safe and impossible to step online. but at range 0-1 it's not hard to sidewalk by chars with normal-good movement and launch punishable, which true not everyone can do but just about everyone can get a good punish in there. I do like to use it in set ups, couple of scenarios where it's guaranteed to hit in that sweetspot, but it's not that good in the neutral unless the opp doesn't know how to deal with it or their character can't punish it well. Heihachi's version of demon paw has better pushback and is less punishable on block, as if he needed that.

I say BTP is Bears best move because it tracks to both sides at any range, is one of the best 15 frame punishers in the game and for whatever reason will crush highs in the early frames. Better as a whiff punisher. Can threaten the full launch with just df2, which just so happens to the best best mid poke.Launch punishable but so are most of Bears key moves

Good session guys.

I'm off to study now but you guys keep going at it, it's a real back and forth. Negan's wall carry is nasty didn't know he was this good.

Mid and low mixup with Kuma is very solid.

I'm going to keep figuring things out to get my Ws against you two.

Good games

You'll get there. Jin has a harder gameplan than most other characters, so it might take longer to get comfortable with him, but it'll be worth it in the end. When that punishment trainer/frame data display drops it'll help a lot with training

if there's anything about Bears you're struggling to beat, let me know and I'll tell you how to deal with it. Character is full of gimmicks.

I was very tempted to bring out Lili but I needed that matchup experience with Jin. I noticed how you both were controlling the space were wary of whiffing moves.

I have to remind myself that Jin's 4 is hardly worth throwing out as a punish. The mixup games you both showed will definitely be used going forward.

Kuma reminds me of Eddy and Zafina, have to use Jin's back 2,1.
