That's a lot to remember I'm real time.@Mowgli you up for some games tonight? Panda vs Kuma, maybe Miguel/Paul
-use a fast mid poke to knock bears out of their hunting stance
-the low swipes from the hunting stance are either 0 or only +1 on hit. so they shouldn't be allowed to continue pressure from that
-sidewalk constantly at far ranges so their WR1+2 move doesn't hit (if it does, guarantees a transition into HBS stance). Bears generally have crap tracking on their moves so poking combined with movement is very effective against them
-know what your characters bear specific combos are. most can do some extra fukked up shyt that only works on bears
-213 (2) isn't a real mixup. can be fuzzy guarded
-lots of their moves are launch punishable and if you don't do so, they'll get away with murder. worth going into the lab to figure out what you can do
-don't whiff moves. bears have some of the best whiff punishment in the game
-don't stay on the ground when they have rage
once all the gimmicks are gone, Bears are shyt. but it does take some labbing
Every player has a weakness tailored to their offensive style. People who launch are weak to launchers for example.
My bears are about getting my shyt off enough to program patterns. I try to fight to put peoplen on defense So I can set a pattern then switch. Aggressive playstulr. Sometimes you have to stop fighting all together and chase a whiff.
you can get people caught up in a bear matrix that just drains their life
But yes good players pressure the bear and have a good mix of lows
Once I start block punishing lows, it's over
