People don’t understand how STRONG waves, even small ones are. They can pull you under and your ass ain’t NEVER coming back up.

Folks really underestimate ocean water. They are so used to the calmer waters at the beach and close to shore. Even the best swimmers in the world wont last more than a few minutes in rough choppy waters cause you cant just float to keep your head above the water.

Please my nikka, tell us more? Tell us how he couldn't see in pitch black, but was literally heading towards the raft in the beginning of the video . Tell us how everything was pitch black, but the lights at the top of the ship, not aimed down towards the water, allowed us to see him clearly?

What the kid could see as a result of the way light reflects off water, and what the people could see under direct fukkin lighting on the deck, are two different things. There is no light pollution in pitch black water at night, like you have in streets and cities. The kid was drunk, disoriented and following sound/voices. Which is misleading due to waves deflecting. And you never actually see him trying to swim to the raft, as he likely couldn’t see it.

You really believe a person floating in the middle of the ocean at night, has near the same vision as a person atop a boat deck under direct lighting??

This is a cruise ship at night, which has brighter lights than the type of boat that kid jumped off. Keep in mind in this pic there is lighting from nearby city and docks.
